I mean, he's a narcissist so therefore I believe he is almost definitely love bombing a girl right now, however the cheeky bugger๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm offended but this is hilarious. Having Christmas meals out with a girl he's only just started speaking to? WTAF๐Ÿ˜‚

OP posts:

I get it OP! If you had posted that youโ€™re dating after breaking up with someone 3 weeks ago youโ€™d be told that you need to stay single for a while.

Funny how no one has asked if you have kids with him.

Why does it matter? Even if they did, I doubt he would rock up on Christmas day with her to see the kids or something.

icelolly12 · 23/12/2024 20:22

Is it only me that would also be hurt by an ex moving on so quickly?

Also this isn't a coffee in Costa, it's Christmas- a time spent with your significant other/s

Because that doesn't matter.

Father or not he can have dinner without OPs permission.

He might have been speaking to her before you broke up? If he's that much of a narcissist, it wouldnโ€™t be such a leap would it?

So he made plans for Christmas and is dating after a month... both perfectly normal.

Starting a thread obsessing about what your ex is doing is not though, I think you need to move on with your own life instead of obsessing over his.

TravelInsuranceQ · 23/12/2024 20:16

Maybe he booked it months ago and planned to take you?
Maybe she booked it months ago in case she met someone?
Maybe he was cheating on you with her for ages and this was always planned?
Lots of ways this could have happened.

Honestly, what does it matter?!
He's your ex - don't waste another second thinking about him, or being offended by this....!

IDontLoveTheWayYouLie · 23/12/2024 20:11

Does it matter? He can do what he wants while he's single.

weaselpatrol · 23/12/2024 20:11

What a weird reaction. Heโ€™s not doing anything wrong.

randomchap · 23/12/2024 20:11

Block him on all social media

Move on

He's an ex for a reason. You don't need him

I wonder if it's more restaurants get booked quite far in advance and they must have had this arranged a while back?

Don't give her ideas!

Edingril · 23/12/2024 20:07

I think the iq level seems be lowering each year

BMW6 · 23/12/2024 19:57

Very odd point of view OP!

You're no longer in a relationship - why wouldn't he be having dinner with someone?

2025willbemytime · 23/12/2024 19:54

All seems very over dramatic and immature.

Neveranynamesleft · 23/12/2024 19:52

Time to move on. He has.

Letsgetalong · 23/12/2024 19:50

i understand the shocked feeling - I have been there but he isn't really doing anything wrong or outrageous here. Seeing a significant other move on always feels...a bit painful to the ego and shocking. But I promise, it will be fine. Focus on what you want to do and put them out your mind as often and as much as you can. In a few years this will all seem like nothing!

Mickey79 · 23/12/2024 19:49

Why are you offended that a single man is having a meal out with a ( presumably ) single woman. This is weird.

KerryBlues · 23/12/2024 19:49

Why are you claiming he's a narcissist, just because he's moved on?!

TallNeckedGiraffe · 23/12/2024 19:49

Itโ€™s none of your business.

VickyEadieofThigh · 23/12/2024 19:47

40 years ago, I binned off a bloke I'd been with for 3 years (and lived with for the 3rd year) at the end of November and by the end of January he was married to a woman who gave birth to their child at the start of the following September.

I still find that astonishingly fast work.

5128gap · 23/12/2024 19:47

Maybe she's got nothing better to do? Doesn't need to be an indicator of something serious.

TTPDTS · 23/12/2024 19:46

Going out for a meal when single isn't a crime!

AnarchismUK · 23/12/2024 19:46

He may be a narc but he's not behaving weirdly. You on the other hand...

Cosyblankets · 23/12/2024 19:45

How long would you like him to wait?
