Conspiracy Theories part 2

A follow on thread as the first thread is full. This message is directed towards @Corinthiana

A few negative newspaper headlines made Diana unpopular? Nonsense. She remained a figure of profound importance internationally. She died over the summer - August. So she was on holiday. She was divorced and they shared arrangements with the boys. So she was on a yacht? Did you run her personal schedule to know that this was a sign of her prioritising her relationship over her sons as this is what you appear to be implying? Do you honestly think that the public reaction in the immediate aftermath of her death was due to her sudden post death elevation to sainthood as opposed to her enduring popularity during her life? What an illogical statement.

She was indeed a very complex woman but the fascination with her was boundless. You sound reductive and agenda driven. Greed? She was from a true blue blooded family - she famously said to Prince Philip 'my family is older than your's'.

Oh and Diana really wasn’t popular at the time, on the contrary she was a bit of a laughing stock by then. Hoaring around with other women’s husbands and boyfriends, with no consideration for the people who were affected by her behaviour. Manipulating the press into believing she was some kind of victim when actually she made a good living being an OW for several years.

The press only made her into some kind of saint after she died because they had been following her in the hopes of capturing yet more of her antics.

And then people made up all that crap about her going to get engaged to Dodi and being pregnant by him, when actually she’d been shagging him (having been the OW while he cheated on his GF with her) for a matter of weeks. It just suited the narrative to paint her as some kind of wronged fairytale princess, which she most certainly was not.

So the thread is unpleasant but you refer to Diana 'hoaring' which I think is an incorrect spelling of the misogynistic and vulgar term 'whoring'? What a vile and disgusting thing to say. Shameful.

I am not stating anything I am raising it as an ongoing conspiracy theory, as something that exists. She had many many many surgeries - this was an endoscopy. She did not die from the reaction to the anesthetic she died from brain damage due to lack of oxygen.

Shock horror a thread about conspiracy theories references a - wait for it - conspiracy theory...

I’m not shocked about the thread about conspiracy theories. And based on your previous posts I’m not particularly shocked that you’re making accusations about the sex of a black woman and suggesting she had something to do with another woman’s death? While she was on the operating table? Unless I’m getting you wrong of course - and that wasn’t what you intended? I do apologise if that wasn’t what you meant by your comments? Because they are terrible things to say, so maybe I have got it wrong?

See what intrigues me is why some people are so defensive of their so called right to make accusations about people who have never been tried, never been convicted, never even been arrested for a crime.

I imagine that the OP was probably among those who were accusing Nicola Bulley’s partner of her murder and were likely feeling somewhat stupid when it turned out she’d fallen into and drowned in the river.

These true crime forums are typically full of batshit wannabe detectives who feel the need to have their opinions heard in the belief that they know what happened, even though the experts often don’t.

You 'imagine' incorrectly about Nicola Bulley - there you go with your flawed and ill founded reasoning. I made no accusations about the McCanns I merely cited the evidence generated in the case. Sadly you seem very misguided and willing to insult me for no valid reason.

Diana's friends all said that she was scrupulous about seat belts but the one in the Mercedes was broken .

Just the one? So did everyone else not wear one in solidarity? Why wouldn't they offer her their seat? Why wouldn't she demand another car? What sort of driver service doesn't do proper up keep of their vehicles? A quick Google image search brings up at least 2 photos of her in a car without a seatbelt on!

OP, it is worth remembering here that the Mccanns have two other children who are now adults and presumably would like to grow up in a normal life and not come across people like you harping on about your opinions.

Perhaps you might like to educate yourself over the fact that that police officer who wrote the book was also struck off for misconduct.

You know no more than anyone else regarding what happened to Madeleine McCann, so let’s not start shouting at people to educate themselves when there have never been any charges, any proof, and the child was never found.

I didn't realise that I shouted at you? I'm sorry if you don't like it, but do you also post on every single true crime forum on reddit, you tube etc. about this case or do you save your outrage for mumsnet? This case is in the public record and so people will comment on it, Kate wrote a book on it. The fact that you don't like it does not invalidate it as a subject of legitimate public interest. I am quite certain that the twins are not reading this thread and they will unfortunately be exposed to far more scandalous material than this thread. I do not think that any of the issues with Amaral have a significant bearing on his interpretation of the evidence in this case that led him to the conclusion that there was no abduction.

Oh come off it.

You raised Joan Rivers' death, calling it suspicious and linked it to her calling Michelle Obama trans. You also peddled the (false) claim that Barack once referred to Michelle as Michael, and you've asked for someone to show you a picture of Michelle, pregnant.

Don't do the "I'm just asking questions" or "some people are saying" schtick- if you're going to peddle this toxic crap, at least have the backbone to admit you're doing it.

I said I find it quite suspicious/intriguing, please quote me correctly. I also asked the poster to show me an actual picture of Michelle pregnant, she linked to a weird set of fakes. I would like to see one. Joan's death is perplexing and suspicious to me. She died during a routine endoscopy of lack of oxygen having gone through many many surgeries. The timing was in close proximity to that statement. There is a plethora of other information about this issue on the internet. Hence it falls under the umbrella of what would be referred to as a conspiracy theory.

I don't think she looks "strong and commanding" (in terms of physical appearance; she is certainly a strong and commanding speaker). She's just a normal looking woman, albeit taller than most.

It's just a racism thing.

Like the same accusation levied towards Bridget Macron you mean? Is this also founded in racism? You say a lot but a lot of it has no substance whatsoever.

but clearly the OP is a raging conspiracy theorist. The kind that people laugh at and steer clear of in equal measure.

What an unpleasant thread? You are easily upset aren't you? I posted about the McCanns, who were listed as suspects by the police in Portugal due to a significant amount of evidence. I suggest you do some research on this as you appear to be very ignorant. Michelle Obama - I am perplexed. Find me a picture of her pregnant I would be very happy to stand corrected. Start your own thread if you are so offended. You are very keen on hyperbole aren't you to call me a raging conspiracy theorist based on these? What a silly, reductive and simplistic response.

This thread is utterly bonkerdoodles (and I'm enjoying it very much).

Just on Joan Rivers- her whole shtick was saying rude & controversial stuff. She did it for decades. I thought she died during a cosmetic surgery procedure in her 80's? Any surgery at that age is risky.

As for Michelle Obama- in the Australian media at the time, so around 2008, she was referred to as "That bloke married to Obama". So nasty. I think she's just a strong & commanding looking woman.

Carry on....

Where in the Australian media did they refer to Michelle Obama as that bloke?

I do find the death of Joan Rivers quite suspicous/intriguing in terms of its timing. She died shortly after she had referred to Michelle Obama as trans - she had undergone quite a minor operation and died during this. She was captured on film making the statement about MO and she did not appear to be joking. It is very perplexing.

Edited

There was probably a huge crowd fund to get rid of her.

It’s not perplexing, she had a reaction to the anaesthetic, which is always a risk. What are you actually suggesting happened? What you’re saying is both ridiculous and massively offensive to Michelle Obama. Seriously.

I thought the controversy over this arose from the fact that Buzz Aldrin made statements that the footage was animation, although this does appear to have been de-bunked now (see below). So some people believe that the footage was faked but not the actual landings?

https://www.reuters.com/article/fact-check/buzz-aldrin-interview-about-moon-landing-is-not-proof-that-it-was-faked-idUSL1N2US2G3/

It you knew anything about Buzz you'd know he hates fake moon landing theorists, he has a history of punching them in the face!
