I think the man who left his family to go and live in New Zealand must be the worst man of 2024.

OP posts:

On MN the guy whose mistress contacted 9 months preg OP to say they were having an affair. Screenshotted all evidence.

He hasnt bothered to check on OP or their children and is full of "woe is me" in his texts

The champion who told his partner she owed him money because her contributions to bills reduced during maternity leave.

What happened with that? That was egregious. I was really hoping he just hadn’t thought it all the way through, had just had some sort of terrible advice and would back down.

I would nominate the 60y.o man who had unprotected sex with his 40s partner, then went in a huff because she didn’t immediately agree to terminate the resulting pregnancy. A whole new low.

Doesn't the OP mean partners and husbands who have featured on MN threads, not those murderous men in the news?

Yeah this is supposed to be about MN threads, obviously murderers and rapists in the news are scum.

Of all the men who have done terrible things, you choose someone who has has a breakup and hasn't shared the actual reason?

I might have been taking the piss, but I couldn't confirm.

Colinswheels · 21/12/2024 13:38

On Mumsnet the one mentioned upthread where the wife was told she owed her husband money after being on maternity leave.

The one with the newborn baby whose husband kept waking her up and she was asking for advice how not to punch him in her sleep (I would have divorced him)

The one where the husband decided to go to A&E with a relative (along with some other relatives who were also there) and left his wife to care for their children when she had just had an operation that day. That one really struck a chord as some men will do anything to appear useful aside from actually helping their own partner.

Sara Sharif’s father 100% - disgusting excuse for a human

Yes, he is in a "class" of his own. And his vile spineless family

For stupid we can give that to the ex husband annoying his ex wife about “access” to their 22 year old son at Christmas. Wanting her to drive or pay for his train fare. What a dick 🤣🤣🤣

Yes that's an absolute classic @Mamabear999

I'm still cackling about it now Grin

Unpopular opinion but I think the DH of the poster moaning about her DSD has a lot to answer for.

(the one with the 4 other children being bankrolled by the father, whose wife had died and life insurance paid off the DSD house)

he barely got a mention in the thread but he must be a real weak selfish guy to have allowed them to treat the dsd like that. My worst nightmare that something like that could happen to my kids if I died.

No it's not an unpopular opinion.

It's disgusting. She's certainly the worst woman I've encountered on MN, and he's the enabler.

I hope to God he's got a sister or someone who might recognise the details of the thread and get those parasites out.

KittenPause · 21/12/2024 13:15

So many to choose from

Assad
Pelicot
Sara's dad

Anyone who has killed

Anyone who has raped

MumOfOneAllAlone · 21/12/2024 13:10

In all seriousness, there are many bad men who deserves it

But I wanna chuck the burper into the mix, who clearly hates his wife - the thread was only created a few days ago - he seems like he doesn't have the balls to be an awful man in public so is passive aggressive about it

Eurgh

Winterwonderland24 · 21/12/2024 13:05

There was an awful one on here only last night which was really shocking.

The bloke had moved to op’s area and was looking after his young child but not sending him to school. He smoked weed all day long and let his son stay up all night. He had left his other children with the mother who apparently had eight children. When the op tried to finish it, he got aggressive, threatened her with the woman who had eight children, op reported him to the police and he was going to be arrested last night!

Jostuki · 21/12/2024 12:44

Starmer.

You think Starmer is worse than Pelicot?

Well, can't say I'm that surprised given how the right view woman I guess🤷

OffMyDahlias · 21/12/2024 12:52

There are many to choose from.

Waitingfordoggo · 21/12/2024 12:50

I didn't hear about the bloke who went to live in NZ- was that on MN?

But yes, Pelicot has to be the biggest shitstain of the year. And the crossbow killer. And Andrew Tate- he gets a prize every year just for taking part.

BlueRaincoat1 · 21/12/2024 12:46

SatansBobbleheadedDashboardOrnament · 21/12/2024 12:46

I've got some cream for that.

Lentilweaver · 21/12/2024 12:45

Am sure I have vaguely heard of Starmer outside MN. Rings a bell.

Jostuki · 21/12/2024 12:44

NeverDropYourMooncup · 21/12/2024 12:32

Hard to say. There's a fucking massive cohort eligible for consideration.

Can we do what happens in schools where more than three kids get the same amount of team points and the entire class is congratulated in the end of term newsletter?
