I totally agree. I think they're doing a fantastic job keeping their kids out of the public eye, and it can't be easy to do on a continuous basis. As public figures, it's probably the greatest gift they can give their children at this point.

But then why this photo?? What's the point? I can only conclude that inclusion of this photo is meant to indicate their family-friendly props, or show people that their children love them and miss them when they're gone. And wtf is that about, for a work/business card? Like so much of what they do (a show about Polo that Harry's not in, an ARO launch that went nowhere, big announcement that Meghan's podcast is moving to a new platform and then nothing, 40x40 which trailed off into obscurity and went nowhere, Meghan marching with wounded veterans at Invictus in Hermes slides and linen shorts etc etc etc) it makes no sense to the outside world and you can only think there's an internal logic/point that only they are privy to. Which leads to more inconsistency: why publicize this then?! It's just a waste of time (my general conclusion about everything to do with this couple) - so I'm off to do my supermarket shopping now!

It's sort of their brand, isn't it? Just as it's the RF's brand.

If you have a photo of your family on it, why not have the family actually visible?

I admire them for keeping their childrens faces away from the media. There is nothing incomprehensibly inconsistent about that. They always said that's what they'd do.

The kids would be picked to pieces if more of them were shown.

It isn't a Christmas card, it's a 'Happy Holidays' card. (How I loathe that expression).

Who gives a flying fuck?

👍

There's also a royal board somewhere to accommodate this kind of tedious dross.

I can tell.

You don't need to spell anything out to me "obviously" and I don't "hate their guts". I don't care enough about anyone to waste my energy on hating anyone's guts.

Listen dearie, I dislike the way they behave. I was disgusted by how they treated the late Queen and Prince Philip and the huge distress they must have caused them as they were dying. If you think that's ok, then that's more of a reflection on you than anything. I guess you're either emotionally intelligent or you're not.

I don't need your permission or anyone else's to discuss them, and I won't be replying to any more of your posts, because they don't interest me, so you can spend the rest of your afternoon picking on someone else.

I'm sure that whatever Meghan and Harry did or didn't do paled in comparison to the antics of Andrew. The queen paid a hefty price for his little mistake - financial and, no doubt, emotional.

Who gives a flying fuck?

This is my view. They are not even working Royals any more. Why do you care what their Christmas card looks like?

We now know that Diana was deceived and manipulated by Martin Bashir.

She may have been ,but I think she also used the interview to manipulate the public ,I watched it at the time she was very keen to get her side of the story across.

If it's corporate why do they have a family photo on it?

They're just horrible, horrible people, and I wish the news would stop covering them.

Did you say the same about William and Catherine’s card? Are they also horrible, horrible people?

You wish the news would stop but you keep clicking the links. You’re not fooling anyone.

GiveMeSpanakopita · 17/12/2024 15:23

Yes, they've deliberately shopped it to give the trolls something to squeal about and go viral. I don't think much of the vast majority of the professional choices these two have made over the past 4 years, but I've got to admit, I think this little joke is quite funny, and suggests that they do, after all, have a sense of humour.

Props to them!

The news wouldn't bother with them if people didn't click the links. So there's your answer. Keep scrolling on by.

I am not comparing. You say Mike Tindall could dish the dirt if he wanted. But he hasn't
I am saying... course he wouldn't, he lives on his MIL's estate and gets work and financial benefits from his RF connections.

I just don't understand your posts to be honest

Yeah, I figured that.

Regretsfrankhadafew · 17/12/2024 09:54

But it's a corporate card! Corporate cards are always about promoting the business, so it will have images from them doing their job. People are looking to be offended because they hate Harry and Meghan.

If it's corporate why do they have a family photo on it?

Maybe you should share that extensive knowledge of yours with the relevant authorities then.

Another post of yours I don't understand.

I am on two threads about Andrew. I know about this Chinese spy connection from very many reports I have read. I don't feel the need to contact relevant authorities.

You know both the king and Diana also gave interviews about the family and wrote books ?
So why is only H&M get the hate like I said no good reason, the women can't breathe without someone saying she's doing it wrong

So are people supposed to pretend they don't know he's a member of the RF?

Comparing the Tindalls to the Sussexes is just ludicrous.

Is this photo actually on the thread somewhere, because I can't see it and it isn't showing in the OP.

Harry and Meghan are public figures. I think it's fine to discuss them and their card. They haven't lived private lives since moving to America, they have continued to raise their public profiles. What they did - and continue to do - to the Royal Family is a matter of public interest for the British. Harry is the son of the monarch. I would say this discussion is unfair only if they had lived truly private lives in America.

A PP said that the world needs to forget about Diana. Why do we? She was an icon and a part of history. She's relevant to the monarchy today and she won't be forgotten in our lifetime.

If the card has been altered, I have no idea why they would do that. Just send out a real image. It's not hard!

I also think the trend for photographs of children's backs or hiding their faces is really weird. Carrie Johnson does the same. If you want to protect the children's privacy, just don't include them in photos! The trend results in awkward and strange photos, as if there's something wrong with the kids and the parents are trying to hide it. Just leave the kids out altogether!

TG for some commonsense!!

Why what exactly did they did they do to the late Queen and prince philip other than an Oprah interview which was their right ,loads of the family have done embarrassing things over the years
I imagine having a son who at best had very questionable morals waa rather more embarrassing and hurtful.

If you really don't know, then who am I to try to explain it in words of not more than one syllable.

Don't get your point. Of course the podcast was positive! Yes he could fill a book with family secrets, so what?!

He lives on his MIL's estate, he's hardly going to dish the dirt! Besides which their royal connections serve them very well financially in all sorts of ways

So are people supposed to pretend they don't know he's a member of the RF?
