Bullseye coming back has made me think this .

These are the programs I’d like to see shown again:

Winner Takes All
Generation Game
Punchlines
Krypton Factor
Crackerjack
Ever Decreasing Circles
Terry and June
A Fine Romance
There’s No Place Like Home
3-2-1

I apologise - some programmes above are ‘ones for the teenagers’

They've been showing old episodes of "Call My Bluff" on BBC4 recently and I forgot how simple, yet entertaining, a programme it was.

I'd love to see a modern day version of it!

Yes 🙌

I’d love to see a remake of ‘Just Good Friends’. Vince & Pen. Fab. How could play them?

Same actors !

When they brought gladiators back, I did think the generation game would be a good one to bring back to life.

@XWKD Kojak! Love it. Big crush on him as well.

MumOfOneAllAlone · 11/12/2024 16:01

I watched an American TV show called 'Providence' on itv when I was a kid. It reminds me of the summer, as I'd watch it during the holidays. Can't find it anywhere.

Also, the good wife on a decent UK streaming service!

XWKD · 11/12/2024 16:00

Kojak.

Who watches TV anymore?

Are you defining ‘tv’ very narrowly as traditional channels watched in a linear fashion? Because I reckon most people watch some sort of moving images on a screen. I call all that ‘tv’ as long as it’s not cinema.
But millions watch it in your narrowly defined way too.

MrsSethGecko · 11/12/2024 15:58

Oh Upstairs Downstairs is great.

FuckItItsFine · 11/12/2024 15:57

Used to love Call My Bluff! It was a bit twee but it had a certain charm and cosiness that I loved.

Beeinalily · 11/12/2024 15:57

I've been rewatching Upstairs Downstairs, and it's superb. Add it to your list, OP!

Do you mean repeated, or remade?

Repeated I suppose !!

But even better - would like to go back to 1981 and start again from there ! 🙌

I think a regeneration of the generation game could definitely work!

Also blockbusters, that was brilliant
