To be glad America’s best-known practitioner of youth gender medicine is being sued?

I hope this leads to less, maybe zero medication or surgery on anyone under 18 in the USA and with luck, also leads to gender questioning people being given effective, holistic mental health support so they can be happy with themselves instead of resorting to surgery, which does not seem to work.

(To be clear I am in no way glad someone had to go through this hell and feel they had no recourse but to sue a doctor they should have been able to trust)

I believe that the law group is one that is now specialising in these cases. They are four fathers at the moment, they may have to expand. The indications are that once one of these cases are successful, that there will be a flood. I believe there is 20 detransitioner specific cases in various stages across the world waiting to go through right now.

Disagree. The more a light is shone on this shot and more people become aware of what’s been happening, the better for us all

I have the Middle East hidden but I don't go on AIBU threads about the ME trying to police them. 🤷‍♀️ I just click the minus button on the right on active threads on any I don't want to see. Now you've posted, you're going to keep getting pulled back to this thread via notifications.

It was obvious this would happen. These poor people have been mutilated and experimented on. My heart goes out to them all.

Good. This is the inevitable outcome of recklessly experimenting on children but, fuck me, how on earth has it taken this long?
