Sorry about your leg and early bed change, Laura. That's stressful. I'm glad it doesn't hurt too much, keep taking painkillers. Sending a big cuddle, I'm sorry you didn't get much back from your children yesterday. They can be so loving but so wrapped up in their own world at times (let along with your ex talking shit to them). They'll come around, I know it but I get it's so so hard in the meantime. Lots of hugs and enjoy the netflix film. Which one is it?

Good Morning, Laura and Spoonies. A big cuddle from me 🤗 Laura. It must be upsetting not to get texts from your children , but it probably that like a lot of young ones, they just don’t think!
Hope your leg feels a little more comfortable today and isn’t quite as sore as yesterday.
But it must of been a bit of a worry when you saw the blood on your sheets, then having to wash all the bedding is something you could of done without!

I too read those other threads, how awful for them, but you know how shit some partners can be!

I’m fine, just going to clean my house today, as it badly needs it! And so untidy, after my grandchildren have been there is stuff everywhere.

@Imbluedalale I totally understand your feelings around your family, it's nice to be thought of is all. Try and take it easy and let thing heal.
I also read those threads you have mentioned, the pregnant lady kicking her ex to kerb via the BIL was great! Shocking story though.
My partner brought home a flu yesterday morning, he was banished to the backroom and hasn't left it in 24hrs which isn't like him at all so it's bad. I've woken this morning with the chill right into my bones and generally feeling a bit heavy in the head. I've logged on for work but if this continues I will be taking myself back to bed and the electric blanket. I can't face a day in front of a screen as it's already hurting my eyes. I've had some Paracetamol and water with ginger and lemon so here's hoping it helps.
