DH wouldn't dance to our special song

Last night, at a bday party, our special song comes on. We are standing in a group, I look at DH with my most alluring face, say "our special song, let's dance", but he didn't respond. It was humiliating.

Has anyone else ever experienced such rejection and what do you think should do now?

I know you’re never going to show us your most alluring face (which is a shame, and against MN rules. It comes just under the one about parking diagrams) BUT at least tell us the song so we can imagine for ourselves.

This sounds like Mills and Boon material. You should have asked his ugly mate instead, who would reveal himself to not only be a superb dancer, but also hung like a mule, filthy rich and deeply attuned to your inner feelz.

I got rejected like this once, but I only used my second most alluring face, so figured that was why.
