Nikita had such terrible bruising, a paramedic hasn't seen such extensive bruising, she had to have a tampon removed from her cervix, she's had her house/car attacked, mum threatened, intruders broke into her home and tried to stab her bf/ threatening her and her bf he tried to pay her off in 2019 for a million, she said no I want justice.

Woman wins civil rape case against Conor McGregor

A civil action was taken by Nikita Hand who had accused McGregor of raping her in a Dublin hotel in 2018.

I think that poster maybe got confused with the woman who broke her arm escaping from him when he sexually assaulted her

It is unlikely she has £0 in her bank account and that she has no assets either.

Sorry not sorry but I’m not buying that she’s a naive helpless victim with nowhere to turn. Women in worse, poorer and more dangerous positions have fled and put their children first. In lieu of knowing the particulars, I think we just perhaps need to accept that whilst she may be a DA victim, she may also equally be someone who is happy to stay and is a turn the other cheek for the money kind of person.

I’ll make this my last reply because I’m going to bed and it’s rapidly becoming apparent to me that trying to get this through to you is utterly pointless.

I agree that she might be happy to stay with him. It’s unlikely either of us will ever be privy to her thoughts. But for the last fucking time, women in worse, poorer and more dangerous positions have not been appearing on the nightly news. Their faces haven’t been splashed all over the internet. They’re of no interest to the tabloids. WHERE IS SHE SUPPOSED TO GO THAT SHE WON’T BE RECOGNISED??

Can you really not see the balance in that risk? You’re working on the basis that she walks off with the kids and he never gets to see them again. As much as you’d like to pretend that no Judge would let him have unsupervised access, that is absolutely not the case and it is pointless pretending otherwise. So does she stay in the home where she is there 24 hours a day and can shield them? Or does she leave and hand them over to him for him to bring them up how he pleases?

Can you really not see that one option is safer for the kids than the other?

No I will never see that letting a violent and sexually violent man raise 4 children is a safer option than trying to get them away. Say “Oh well it probably won’t go in my favour” is not a good enough reason to stay.

Anyway we are both making a lot of assumptions about them which neither of us know. But from the outset she seems to me to be a “stand by your man” type who at the very least accepts persistent cheating with a man who’s not sorry about it. He also clearly has many jollies away from her given his propensity to sexually assault people abroad when his OH isn’t around. Im sure he will continue to do so.

I think it was the man in the pub who wouldn’t drink his whiskey

@EvilsElsasPetSnowman

I am only catching this reply now

Maybe I’m projecting as I remember feeling overwhelmed with how little consideration I was given being a child having to live with that, but the thought of going “it’s doomed she has to stay, fuck the 4 little lives involved” is just plain dumb

I'm so sorry that happened to you. Context is everything. I was here wondering why women are here talking about a violent man and focusing on his partner. But you are obviously coming from a different perspective.

I don't think fuck the kids at all. I hope they ok. I hope he is a house angel type. But either way his disgusting behaviour will impact them. I have no experience of living with a violent person or living with addiction.

It’s inexplicable and like I say I probably have higher expectations for women to be protectors than the next person.

But yes the focus should be on him and my first post said he should be imprisoned for life. WTF is happening in Ireland that he gets away with violent crime after violent crime.

I really think there should be some sort of “three strikes” rule for violent men (and women but let’s face it they’d be few and far between) or similar. Hes had so many accusations and convictions - either he’s the world’s unluckiest man to be falsely accused so often (unlikely) or we need to start locking up these men away forever.

Anyway I’m waffling now and perhaps that’s not a well thought out plan but I am sick to the back teeth of famous men who, in my view, have little talent and even fewer brains, getting away with violence all the time.. The sad thing is he will continue to fight and people will pay to watch him and will cheer him on. Look at the rapist Mike Tyson. I’m fucking sick of men being Teflon coated and I’m afraid it’s hard not to be angry at every loved one, family member and friend who stands by supporting them and never ever checking or calling out their behaviour.
I have a son and I will always love him but my support is absolutely conditional. If he ever did what CM did I would absolutely disown him. Same for any family member, friend, brother etc. Not stand around moaning that he’s the real victim, which no doubt CM’s circle are doing.

Sorry. Rant over

You want her name? She has anonymity.

Thevelvelletes · 23/11/2024 00:05

I'd lay money he has connections to crime figures who would have facilitated the threats and assaults on her family to try and shut her up.

EvilsElsasPetSnowman · 22/11/2024 23:48

It’s not being put aside but we can’t ignore the risk he’s posing and, wether she’s abused or not, she’s enabling that risk by staying with her children in the marriage

You don’t have any idea about her bank balance either, so all your arguments that she could do this, or that, hold no more weight than anyone else’s. It is clear that you have no experience with the family courts though. I can tell you from personal experience that a good lawyer can make a violent man with convictions seem like a fine, upstanding member of the community whose bitter ex is just trying to alienate him from his children.

What I want for those poor little sods is for their mum to make the best decisions for them that she can, to prevent him being responsible for their upbringing.

No, it’s because he’s a violent rapist and, whatever she’s seen and done, she hasn’t raped anyone, she hasn’t attacked anyone and broken their jaw. She hasn’t done any of the things that HE has done.

You have no idea how much money she has in her bank account. And expensive lawyers can’t make a convicted violent man look like an innocent good father above a woman with an untarnished reputation.

What should she do then? Being a fellow child victim of DV, what do you want for those 4 children.

I’m afraid I agree with this. His violence predates meeting her and yet they have had 4 children together. Women have left powerful men many times, it is possible and in my book if you have the slightest shit about your kids you’d risk everything to do so

EvilsElsasPetSnowman · 22/11/2024 23:48

Whothefuckdoesthat · 22/11/2024 23:47

You think the sort of people who burst into someone’s house and stab their partner, or who compromise witnesses, give a shit about the police? Do you think a charity could hide her? Or spend all their resources taking on his lawyers?

As you say, none of us know whether she even wants to leave him, but it’s abhorrent that his crime is being put aside so she can be judged.

The DPP didn't think there was sufficient evidence to make a criminal conviction likely, so there was no prosecution.

As rape can almost never be proven and the CPS won’t let it go to court if it can’t be proven ( even when the man is guilty), she got the truth out this way.

She was believed.

Whothefuckdoesthat · 22/11/2024 23:47

EvilsElsasPetSnowman · 22/11/2024 23:27

There may not be dv in the home. We don't know if he's violent towards her. So yes it's easier to stay if there's no DV or leave and get your head blown off .

But everyone is talking like abuse is a given. I’ve no doubt at all that CM at least deeply controls his OH. The kids will pick up on that.

EvilsElsasPetSnowman · 22/11/2024 23:42

Whothefuckdoesthat · 22/11/2024 23:40

Yeah, me too, except in the eighties, when there was even less support and police wouldn’t come out for ‘domestics’. There are a lot of us on here who know what it is like to stay in a refuge. And if it was difficult enough for our skint but anonymous mothers to leave and hide ourselves, how much harder do you think it would be for a woman who has appeared in every national paper in the UK and whose partner is associated with people who don’t have a great deal of respect for the police? You think she’d be able to hide who she was? That some shitty tabloid couldn’t track her down?

She doesn’t have any money. He does. You think an expensive lawyer couldn’t convince a family court that the kids would be better off living with him in a big posh house and going to private school? Over living with her in a B&B? Or in her paren’t spare bedroom? The same family courts that give abusers unsupervised access to their victims? So does she leave and, ignoring the threats to her, risk her children being left with him? Or does she stay and protect them the best she can?

You have no idea how much money she has in her bank account. And expensive lawyers can’t make a convicted violent man look like an innocent good father above a woman with an untarnished reputation.

She also has the money to live anywhere in the world.

What do you think she should do and what should happen to the children? They just have to live with it all do they?
