Does anyone remember when maybe 10 years ago they made those giant blankets that had sleeves?

Where did they go?
They were so smart!
I only had one, pretty much wore it out, had to throw it out and now I have none….

The original one was always full of electric/static/thingystuff, my hair would stand on end and I'd get constant electric shocks, the dog would jump on and get a shock too so I got rid of it in the end

I nearly got tempted by the usb heated one but memories flooded back and I gave it a no lol

I think I'd rather sit and shiver than go through that again

Son gave me one for Christmas years ago.
Im under it every evening on the sofa
Although I never bothered with the whole sticking your arms in, to me it’s just a warm blanket

I had one and found it a bigger when I needed the loo. I’ve now bought a heated throw. I love it and wear it when I work

I don't think Oodies are the same? I remember them literally being a blanket with two arms, so you sat on the sofa with the blanket covering you but your arms were free

I had a snuggie. Think they were made by JML? Great idea but not very nicr material compared to what you can get now!
They also bought out a 2 person version that was hillarious!

We have a brand in Australia that added a hoodie & resurrected them. Went from people embarrassed if caught owning one, to being an overpriced fashion statement that everyone was in a frenzy to buy. Some people wear them in public, like a jumper.

There's knock offs in every store come winter. So we have HEAPS.

Had a fleecey one for years then it became a dog bed.

It was rubbish when you had to take it off to go for a wee and then you got all cold.

I've got a Primark fake Oodie, two years old now. Still good! I bought my Dad an actual Oodie for his birthday in the Christmas sales last year, got a bargain! He loves it.
