Married or cohabiting.

I am separating from my second husband and now have 3 children from 2 men. No intention of going near another man right now but wondering do people in similar situations find their happy after?

Once and two long term relationships. If I got to do it all over again I would keep the children and dispense with the blokes. I can't seem to attract anyone with the ability to push a hoover round or mop a floor. It's a trial.

Once. 35 years and counting. If something happened to DH I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to find a new relationship, OLD can do one.

Once. 25 years. I don’t plan on getting married again.

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 24/04/2025 00:30

Cohabited with two, one child. I really want another child

GoodCharl · 23/04/2025 23:19

Once, just divorcing. Never planning to ever make this mistake ever again!

mrlistersgelfbride · 23/04/2025 23:14

Zero times married, had one proposal which I accepted. However life had other plans.

I've lived with a man twice including my daughter's dad and we are still together after many years albeit unhappily.
I still (probably foolishly) hope to leave, meet someone else and marry in later life when all this shit is over x

Nottodaygoaway · 23/04/2025 22:19

Once. Never again.

I might be interested in a "living apart together" type relationship but I need my own space and independence. I like making decisions solely for myself.

Astrabees · 23/04/2025 22:12

I’ve been married once, and still am. There are very few divorces in my extended family. DH was divorced when he met me, his only brother is divorced twice. His parents were divorced and his maternal grandparents were divorced!

oreo2024 · 17/11/2024 10:38

Married and divorced twice. DC with the 2nd husband. I used to want to get married again, but 8 years post 2nd divorce, I am not sure if it's worth marrying for me anymore.

Men are not all the same, just as women are not.

Blah blah blah 🙄

Did I ask for your opinion?

BigFatLiar · 17/11/2024 10:23

Just the once married 36 years still going strong. Wouldn't marry again, too old, but if I'd my time over I'd marry him again in a heartbeat.

Branleuse · 17/11/2024 10:23

Im on my second husband.
My mum has had 3 husbands, but has been with her current partner for decades and i don't think they'll bother getting married now

getahhtmapub · 17/11/2024 10:20

Never married (don't understand the point). Been with DP for 26 years.

Makelikeatreeandleaf · 17/11/2024 10:17

Divorced in my mid 30s, still very happily single at 50. It would add nothing to my life to have a partner in it.

Nottodaygoaway · 17/11/2024 10:15

Once married. Never cohabiting or getting married again.

Such an odd final sentence. You can't possibly know that.

Of course she can! Relationships are voluntary, she knows whether she'd choose one again or not.

FrivolousKitchenRollUse · 17/11/2024 10:06

Twice living with someone. Once married - 10 year relationship lived together for 5 and one cohabiting, together for 5, lived together for 3. I certainly wouldn't get married again. Dunno about cohabiting again. Possibly, but maybe when DS17 has long term flown the nest.

ExhaustedHousewife · 16/11/2024 20:50

SoporificLettuce · 16/11/2024 20:47

SoporificLettuce · 16/11/2024 20:45

DustyLee123 · 16/11/2024 08:41

One too many.

That’s the truth.

startingoveragainagain · 16/11/2024 19:51
