Went on a third date with a man, and for relevance we have not had sex yet.

The conversation kind of shifted to exs (it was relevant) and he said he broke up with his ex as it became apparent she only wanted two things:

To live with him rent free
To have an incredible dicking every day (which he followed up with yeah I know that sounds big headed)

I just kind of said “oh right” and changed the subject. Maybe he is fantastic in bed, maybe not, but it definitely gave me the absolute ick.

What does r**e signify?

Glad someone asked that 🤷‍♀️

PowerTulle · 07/11/2024 22:14

No no no Op. The ex wanted him to give her incredible decking, and sadly his diy skills were not up to the job. And if it wasn’t decking then you say goodbye and thank you and you are suddenly very very busy.

SlightlyJaded · 07/11/2024 22:13

I would genuinely be tempted to text him

"Hi there. I just thought it would be best to be honest with you after our date last night. Your comment about your ex only being with your for an 'incredible dicking' every night has given me the 'ick. I have learned that once I get the 'ick, there is no coming back from it, so we'll have to leave it there I'm afraid."

Seriously. I would tell him.

Ewww, it would give me the ick.

What I'm about to say needs a trigger warning

I was on a 3rd date with a guy (35yo for context), the date was dinner and a movie at my place, anyway I was shattered from work and during the movie I yawned to which he stuck his finger in my yawning mouth and said "yawn r**e". Needless to say the date ended very quickly after that, blocked and never saw him again.

What does r**e signify?

This is truly awful but I am cackling. I just can't.

nocoolnamesleft · 07/11/2024 22:07

"Incredible dicking"? Incredible icking!

OMG. I’m speechless.

TwistedWonder · 07/11/2024 22:04

I think I’d have suddenly needed the loo and done a runner.

What a dickhead

Iwantabrightsunnyday · 07/11/2024 22:01

and funnily enough, this is what man is there for: to provide for you and to sleep with you. Honestly? Get rid of this weirdo

queenmeadhbh · 07/11/2024 21:57

100 quid says she faked it every time

GoldenSunflowers · 07/11/2024 21:56

OohShakiraShakira · 07/11/2024 20:06

Eurgh.

Never mind his ex, but the phrase "incredible dicking" will certainly be living rent free (in my head)

Yes. And eww.

eatyeateat · 07/11/2024 21:51

It suggests to me that he's very bad in bed (I foresee no foreplay, just a lot of banging)

Planesmistakenforstars · 07/11/2024 21:47

It's amazing how many men just cannot manage to be normal. He's three dates in and probably all he has to do is continue with what has already worked. But no! He somehow has to work "incredible dicking" into the conversation.

Well said. Increasingly it seems like most of them are stunted, juvenile twats in men's bodies.

Who the hell is raising boys to be this way?

Sassybooklover · 07/11/2024 21:45

I'm not sure I could have kept a straight face!! Sorry but 'incredible dicking'!!! 😂 In fact, I'm pretty sure I'd have laughed, at such a ridiculous statement!! 🤷

Daisybuttercup12345 · 07/11/2024 21:42

YUK!!!

So is a woman having sex 'giving a man an incredible cunting'?

He sounds rank 😂

Omg I'm laughing like a loony !!

onwardsup4 · 07/11/2024 21:33

Incredible 😂 sure. Yes I would at the very least be too cringed out by that

Aposterhasnoname · 07/11/2024 21:29

Are you dating Jay from inbetweeners?

ScreamingBeans · 07/11/2024 21:25

That's absolutely revolting.

I wouldn't see him again.

Allfur · 07/11/2024 21:24

He's probably an andrew tate fan n all

Maria1979 · 07/11/2024 21:22

A bit daft, isn't he? Not understanding that she let him do his dicking in exchange for living rent free.

Duckyfondant · 07/11/2024 21:20

"we passed an Ann Summer's shop (back when they were still around) "

Irrelevant but we still have an ann summers where I live

I think it’s very hard to know without having more context about him ax a person. On the one hand he sounds like a tool, on the other, it is just about conceivable that some men may not want to be with a woman who isn’t bringing anything to a partnership beyond sex, at least not long term. If there is a scenario where he’s working hard to fund everything and is tired etc it is sort of possible to imagine.

but then again, on balance of probability him being a massive tool is most likely.

I'm sorry but any man who speaks so crudely to a new acquaintance is not worth another minute of time. I don't care if it's a friend, colleague or potential romantic partner.

Would he tell his boss "Oh sorry I'm late, my partner wanted a good dicking this morning..."?

Why would any woman date a man who lacks fundamental good taste and decent manners?
