Just that really...! Perhaps a bit more positive than admitting I feel ill about the possible results.

I’ve switched to radio and am about to sleep. What will the morning bring?!

Not good news if you were hoping for a Harris win. Trump just took Georgia

SecretWitch · 06/11/2024 03:31

I'm in Indiana and will be up all night. I did take a nap earlier. I need to stop doom scrolling though. I'm feeling very very scared right now.

Fingers crossed Kamala pulls a victory

I have to go to sleep. Let's hope it's good news tomorrow.

109 to Harris 198 to Trump

anon4net · 06/11/2024 03:05

It also feels apparent as President he won't go to prison for his crimes. Part of me think he concocted a very clever plan to protect himself and sadly people fell for it!

I didn't say I voted for Trump, I voted for the libertarian party. My conscience won't let me vote for either.

The only solace is that he can't run again.

Harris 23,321,195 votes (46%)
Trump 26,583,222 votes (53%)

Trump has a 73% chance according to the polls.

Edited

Unless he changes the rules so that he can run again, or e tends his term…..

Both of which he’s allegedly been muttering about. Perish the thought.

CraftyPlumViewer · 06/11/2024 03:00

It's looking decidedly like a Trump win at present. Harris's goose isn't cooked yet but I am not optimistic.

5 point lead for Trump in Georgia and he's doing well in NYC.

I've been hearing a lot about people feeling unsafe (due to immigrants) and that's why he's doing well.

Harris has won New York. Is that separate to NYC?

anon4net · 06/11/2024 02:54

99 to Harris 188 to Trump

LettuceSpray · 06/11/2024 02:50

@Momtotwokids fine if you don’t think Harris is a good choice. But why does that mean you have to vote Trump? There are other candidates, or you could abstain. It’s quite odd to say you are voting for someone because you don’t like one of the other people.

Also, you have noticed that the majority on MN do not support Trump. I’d hazard a guess that the majority of people in the world don’t. Have you never wondered why?

One day Americans will look back on this time in shame and embarrassment that a great country full of smart people voted for an orange buffoon with weird, random attitudes based on prejudice rather than facts or reality and who can’t string a sentence together. I am saying that as an outsider, not a Harris supporter. Just as someone who is appalled and mystified that anyone could vote for Trump.

It doesn't bode well for the UK economy.

Trump tariffs would halve UK growth and push up prices

Blueuggboots · 06/11/2024 02:31

That's before we even touch in Roe v Wade......😭😭😭😭😭

I feel the same as you expressed here @Blueuggboots I cannot fathom that he is even a choice.

The world will be a very sad place if he wins. Harris has done nothing for America? Oh, ok. So vote in a misogynistic CRIMINAL who is obsessed with power and can't string a meaningful sentence together? What an embarrassment for the world.

HerBloodIsLikeLiquidFire · 06/11/2024 02:20

Momtotwokids · 06/11/2024 01:36

I'm in the US and I just look on the phone once in a while. I know most of you want Harris to win but she has done nothing for our country. She knew Biden was unable to lead and lied and said he was fine. If she wins our economy will suffer.

But under Trump (the actual criminal) it would be better? I don’t care to expand on my point but other posters will. At the very least, he's done in four years time.
