I was so worried about you sleeping on a blow up as it’s hard to get a good sleep on them. I’m also glad they’re realising the reality of what you’re did to you.

i stayed at DP’s last night which has hardly any signal and no WiFi but looking forward to catching up with the thread properly when I get home 💕.

@Imbluedalale a new house is better than Christmas this year! It will be like all the Christmas' ever rolled into one! I just got news my workmate's Mum passed away. So gutted for her having that news at this time of year. Dementia - horrible disease.
The stuffed steak was really good, you know when you just enjoy something more than you think you will and it was smothered in peppered sauce. Yum!

You’re definitely right @nornironlady , actually no amount of christmases could make up for this .
Im so sorry to hear about your work mates mum passing away. I can’t imagine how she must be feeling poor love .
Glad you enjoyed the steak you’ve made me crave a steak since yesterday lol 😂 xx

I had to laugh about you pulling the red cord 🤣🤣🤣 Fabulous news about your parents buying the beds and bedding, that will give you a good start and no air bed needed. They must be trying to right the wrongs of their previous actions. Glad they know at least some of the truth about what your nasty ex did.

@Imbluedalale it's quite mild here too and dry. I don't think it's going to get as cold here in NI as it is for you across water. I've got a shawl/wrap and 2 hot water bottles in my work cupboard. The floor I'm on now is like a sauna though. Too hot!

I hate being too hot would rather be cold than hot although neither is nice really. I hope you have a good day at work, how was your steak last night?xx

What’s the weather like there today @nornironlady ? It’s really mild here today. I’m not sure where but there’s meant to be a cold blast coming soon .
I can imagine it’s a juggling act plus you can’t wear your dressing gown in the office 😂xx

I love a cuppa in bed too . How do you have your tea? Mine has to be a proper builders tea sometimes I even leave the tea bag in, the stronger the better xx

@Imbluedalale I'm great this morning and well rested. 2nd office day out of 3 today. I just a cup of tea on bed myself which I wouldn't normally bother with as I leave at 7am. I tend to wait till work but I needed that wee cuppa to get me going. Glad to hear the knickers and the knockers are well packed 😂😂😂 that really lifted my morning!

@Apolloneuro beautiful coat. Very smart. I totally get what you are saying about the past affecting our present day choices. We didn't have much growing up so I'm the opposite in that I like nice clothes and a good coat. For the odd days I get dressed. Wear and enjoy your coat.
@kittylion2 that's the first thing I will do when I get the tree out. I got a snowflake ornament made from an old spoon!
Or we could do a la Laura and hang our knickers from the ceiling 😂

About my spoon decoration - wouldn't it be great if this thread was still going in December and we could post photos of our Christmas spoons on our trees! In the meantime I will see if I can dig it out tomorrow and take a photo of it.

I have a bit of a funny thing about coats. When I was five, I was in a shop with my mum getting a new coat. They put on a lovely coat, with a furry lining.

When my mum tried to pay with a government clothing voucher she had (we were poor) they took the coat off me and put a thin, unlined coat on me. My poor mum.

Now I never feel like I deserve nice coats. Even today I said to my husband “If you don’t like it or think I shouldn’t have bought it, I’ll take it back.”

I’d be very disappointed if they wasn’t wearing pink converse 😂😂In fact if Noah ever made an ark again I’d want to see all the animals in pink converse 😂preferably running .
Pmsl 🤣 I don’t pay my lady garden that much attention tbh all I was thinking when he said it was ‘surely that would burn’🤣
Awww my heart , they should have let you have the furry coat! And you definitely deserve nice coats and I’m so glad you bought it because it is lovely especially with the green nails xx
