Such a lot has happened today its taken me a while to catch up!! 😄

Lovely, that's the best news ever....what a difference a week makes!!
Never have I been so happy for someone I will never meet!
You and the spoon will be in there for Christmas, I'm sure... now you take all the help you can get, i I'm sure you will make it 😍

Once you are in, we need pictures!!

I can understand why a bear might need wellies - but not slippers (or flipflops)! 😅

There’s even a rubber ring on there for them, I’ve never seen a bear in a pool or paddling pool. Wouldn’t it get wet? And you can even buy crutches for them, I don’t know about you but if I woke up in the middle of the night to see my child’s bear hobbling about on a pair of crutches I’d be pretty scared xx

I mean the design department really didn’t think this through when designing these, bears dont have toes so they don’t need open toe slippers!xx

Awww that’s so lovely, thank you so much.
I’ve sent all the information they provided this afternoon and I called them to make sure they received it . I did ask again if it meant I was going to get the property as I’m a worrier and she said that I am the only person they are considering and they haven’t asked for any other applicants details so as long as all my documents are ok they would offer me it . So fingers crossed my documents are all ok 🤞I sent proof of identify for me and my children, proof of my old address and my bank statement to show proof of income .
How are you feeling now? Did you manage to get some more antibiotics?xx

Meodowhall has definitely changed. I think it’s gone downhill since Debenhams and House of Fraser has closed. I used to go to House of Fraser when I was skint and ask for foundation samples on each of the make up counters 😂 but I used to love both of them stores and could get loads of my Christmas shopping done there oh and once I went to the Build a bear shop there as you could ‘pay your age’ my son was 6/7 at the time so I thought bargain! It wasn’t a bargain, the clothes and the heart thing they put in cost me £90!xx

yes I know where that is, what a lovely area that you are going to be in with lots of amenities on your doorstep too. I’ve not been to lakeside for a while. I used to love ice skating at Doncaster dome when I was younger! Xxx

Not bad news!
So I have just received an email from places for people to say I have been nominated for the house which I put for my 1st choice asking if I’m still interested so I thought I would give them a call. I spoke to the lady who had emailed me and she said I am the ‘only’ person being considered for the property and once I’ve sent my documents across they will arrange a viewing and aslong as I can pay 2 weeks rent up front they will give me the keys there and then! Oh I cannot believe it, I’m shaking!xx

Are you really? I know Sheffield well , I was there yesterday at Weston Park hospital and I used to work on Derek Dooley Way. And I used to go to meodowhall a lot lol 😂
It’s called Woodlands Doncaster do you know where the big Tesco and lakeside shopping is?It’s not far from there xx

It really is incredible news and has made the last 10 days of stress worth it . I can’t wait to have a house key and to cook proper food. I’m not going to tell my children until I know for sure I’ve got it xx

Apologies Laura, CT is council tax. If a person isn’t working and claiming benefits you can get council tax benefit. Do be aware that if anyone in the household is working and not studying you will only get a 25% reduction. Just a heads up for when your older children move in.

My eldest son isn’t going to be living with me just my two youngest and my 17 year old is at college at the moment and hopefully by the time she finishes her course I will be back in work myself xx

What’s CT benefits? I did go on that entitled to website and it says I can get help towards my rent so I will apply for that once it’s definitely confirmed . Oh this is just the BEST news for you! I am beyond excited for you and Spoony. Everything is coming together. What a wild difference from last week; I'm just delighted you may have a home for Christmas. I have an image in my mind of you stepping into a cosy home for that first look around. Beyond exciting! Thank you @CookiePookie I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel! This time last week I was so upset and beat from everything and I couldn’t see a way out and now I may have a home, my support worker wants to come and see it with me and I think my mental health worker will want to aswell. I want all of you to come and see it with me lol 😂 xx
