@PeggyMitchellsCameo ah bless your wee mum. She's clearly the exception 😂 @Imbluedalale I was obsessed with Tammy Girl! I only ever got to go there at Christmas. We started on Body Shop Dewberry and White Musk, Charlie Red then the bigs brands came. I wore CKone and Hugo Boss I think. Couldn't stomach them now.

@nornironlady 😂😂😂😂😂those were the days , I used to buy the different coloured animal soups at body shop I think they was 75p each at the time and they always made my skin itch but still every few weeks I bought one. And I used to go to a sweet stall on the market and get some pick and mix and there was a make up stall on the market I loved. The orangier the foundation the better it was!😂xx

Just to make your laugh when my mum was in Marie Curie she was obsessed about her house.
I hired a cleaner and every week she took a picture.
I showed it to mum every day. The same picture!
Bless her.

Awww that’s so lovely of you @PeggyMitchellsCameo . I bet that reassured your mum so much knowing her home was clean xx

@RaspberryBeretxx it's not a bad thing going into the weekend clear headed 😂 it might motivate me to do something other than lounge about and clean. Life is too short for the cleaning bit anyway. No-one ever lay on their death bed worrying about clean skirting boards 😁 this thread is making me a little nostalgic for my school days. I can smell them!

Hello @Imbluedalale

it sounds like you have had a good, productive day and how lovely of your friend to send you a carvery...have you had it yet??

What book are you reading?
Anais Anais was my first 'real' perfume. I also used to wear Obsession .....that was a bit heavy!

I ended up working today but it wasn't too bad really... I did at least get a lie in.

Post a few pics of the house when you see it, l couldn't be more excited for you!!

You sound so much better than you did a few weeks ago....I still think you are AMAZING xxx

Hi @Munchyseeds2 , It has been a nice day thank you , I do feel a lot less on edge than I did a few weeks ago. I’m eating the carvery now , it’s a humongous portion , might have to save some for later. What a lovely surprise from him.

Im still reading ‘Before I go to Sleep’ nearing the end of it now. Do you like reading?
I used to wear ‘Sunflowers’ by Elizabeth Arden 😂
Im glad you managed to get a lie on , nothing beats it does it . Have you any plans for the weekend?
I will definitely post some pics of the house , thank you so much for being excited for me, that’s so lovely.
I feel so much better than I did a few weeks ago. My medication has started to kick in and I’m feeling more positive and I’m starting to actually look forward to the future. I read this today :
Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been to stand back up taller than you ever were xx

Oh wow! How lovely of the guy from the home to order you a carvery! I bet that’s just what you need - meat, potatoes and veg 😁. Enjoy it 💕!

that’s amazing that the taxi is signed off and you can apply for furniture grants. I’m so happy to hop on fb on your behalf any time. I totally get why you arent keen to be on there. My friend who moved to my village to get away from DA is still not on there 8/9 years later (I don’t blame her!).

sorry you didn’t get to do your plans @nornironlady . That sounds a nice trip with your ds though. Glad he found some bits at least and has gone to youth club and you have a little break.

Hi @RaspberryBeretxx , it’s so lovely of him isn’t it . It’s absolutely huge too, more than enough for one person I don’t think I’ll be able to finish it all. It’s even got pigs in blankets! I’m going to be in a food coma after this!😂
I know it’s really great that the council are willing to do that , they have been really lovely and helpful sorting this out. And thank you that’s so lovely to offer to look for me , I really appreciate that xx

TK Max have some lovely Christmas decorations so worth a visit. I bought a new ceramic frying pan as all the research suggests the black nonstick are not safe. Also bought some cosmetic sets for presents. Also a big box of proper Turkish delight as it is my oldest son’s favourite and he is so good to me.
I can’t remember if the cats completely stayed away but it made me feel better putting an expensive perfume to good use rather than throw it away.
So glad the taxi for your son has been signed off, now there is no reason for him not to come and live with you. Huh houses are like buses, none then 2 come along 🤣 Some one in the housing team wants to impress the MP 🎄🌸

I will go and have a look when I can, thanks @AdmittowearingCrocs Ohhhh your gifts sound lovely and your son will love his Turkish delights.
😂😂😂😂At the thought of you spraying expensive perfume on grass.
I know I’m glad too , it’s a big relief. I need to buy lots of boxes of chocolates to say thank you to people!
I can’t believe they rang and offered me another one today , this one was only 2 bedroom though. I feel like the one I’ve been offered was meant to be, I have a good feeling about it. Council have redeemed themselves with the transport 😂xx

I’m so pleased you’ve had a lovely day , your lunch sounds delicious I could just eat that myself. Oh I love TK maxx especially for decorations, gifts and home ware oh and candles. I can’t wait to take a trip there. Did you buy anything nice?
I bet the cathedral looks gorgeous especially at this time of year.
So I’ve had quite a nice day, managed to read quite abit of my book then had a cosy nap then woke up to lots of missed calls which I’ve managed to sort out this afternoon. 1st missed call was another house being offered to me but I said I’ve got one now. Second was from transport services to say that the funding for the taxi for my youngest has been signed off by people above which I’m so pleased about. I had to get a price from the taxi firms and I nearly bawked at the price but the manager at transport services said that was quite cheap! Then I had a call from my support worker and she’s coming to see me on Monday to start applying for grants etc for furniture so all in all a productive afternoon .
Did the cats ever come back?🤣🤣xx

Hello everyone. It was a good day but I didn't manage anything I planned! My son wanted to go to town and as he's stuck at home being overwhelmed in school I thought I'd get him out for a bit. With ADHD he wanted everything and once he got a top, LED light for his room and a huge churro pretzel he was ready to go home😂I got seeing nothing myself. He's off to youth club so some quiet time. Sounds like a productive day @Imbluedalale Great news on the transport. Glad to hear most of you seem to be starting the weekend well 😀

Hi @nornironlady , sorry you didn’t get to do your plans but a day with your lovely son sounds lovely. I bet he’s chuffed to bits with his new purchases! The churro pretzel sounds delicious 😋 xx

@Imbluedalale wow, just 9 days now! Did you say you'll get to have a little look tomorrow or Sunday (or did I make that up?!). That'll be great to see it, do you know what you need to get? Maybe you can ask for donations on a local FB site or see if anyone can do that on your behalf if you'd rather not put your details out there that way.

Ah, my Grandmother used to wear Anais Anais so I have that scent imprinted on me 💕. I remember it so well - very soft and pretty and floral.

The semen/blood/breastmilk perfume sounds horrifying 😱! Surely they are the things we are trying NOT to smell of 😂.

@PeggyMitchellsCameo it's so funny you say that about Kouros, my best friends BF used to wear it all the time! I was fragrance shopping with DS a while ago and had to send her a pic of it 😂. She was like "OMG, I can smell it now!". DS didn't buy it 😂.

@Ruralretreating well done your DS, that's amazing! I'm in absolute awe of anyone who can get up on stage and perform. That's so lovely his friends have helped his confidence.

@nornironlady Hope the knitting or cocktails (or one after the other?) are lovely. I haven't had a cocktail in ages! I've gone retro and have a bottle of Cava in the fridge for when DP gets here 😂.

@AdmittowearingCrocs hope you had a lovely pub lunch.

Hi @RaspberryBeretxx Have you been upto much today?
I know 9 days! I’m going to view the outside this weekend , I cannot wait . Well I pretty much need everything all I have is the suitcase I’ve got here but I’m going to Red Cross next week or week after to see what furniture I can get there. I don’t have Facebook, I was never allowed it before and I’m not too keen getting it at the moment incase ex or his family or other people give me grief on there. I wonder if I could ask anyone here to have a look for me?
I remember buying my mum it every Christmas and I always got my dad that little dairy milk postbox you could get with the tiny dairy milk chocs individually wrapped. Does anyone remember those?
The semen/blood/breast milk perfume apparently is one of the boutiques bestsellers and it’s 365 dollars!
Omg so do you remember about the man resident I had made friends with at the crisis house? Well he texted me earlier asking if he could ring me. And we had a good talk about everything and how we are both getting on. He’s staying at his parents at the moment until he gets better and he was telling me he’s having a roast chicken dinner tonight and I said that’s what I’m craving . Well he’s just texted me and said he’s ordered me a carvery and it’s on its way! How sweet is that?We are only friends btw but he said he’s met a friend for life in me . Honestly the kindness of people amazes me , I’ve met two friends at the crisis house and all of you on here . I feel like a new person! It’s amazing . Your all amazing xx

Hi Laura, had a lovely day thanks. Ham, egg and chips with a J2O and coffee for lunch. Then Christmas shopping, mostly in TK Max as they had most of the things I wanted. Nipped into the cathedral to see the hanging Mars in there. Lovely but not as good as the doves they had one year.
Gosh, 9 days, soo exciting, do take all of the support offered with getting furniture etc.
I can’t remember who made the poison- was 30 years ago now. I do remember it can in a squat dark bottle in a dark green box with a pattern like silk on it. Not red bottle and Definitely not the modern Poison I have seen advertised. I used it to keep the cats from soiling my lawn in the end as hoped it covered up their scent to stop them coming back 😂😂😂
