£550k in town. £1.2m in the National Park (but it wouldn’t look like that in the countryside as no new builds)

MilmoMaggins · 26/10/2024 20:34

Wow OP, that's incredibly cheap! How much is a 2 bed terraced house where you are?

I thought I lived in a cheap area as that house would probably be 400-500k here.

CrushingOnRubies · 26/10/2024 20:33

£600k-£700k

Depending on specific location

Why?

Show quote history

It’s very ‘thin’, so to me - rightly or wrongly- it looks like a cheap build. By that I mean there’s no real depth to the window sills or doorframes- they’re not far off the depth of the walls.

That said I live in an old house with blast-proof depth walls so accept I may have different views 😅

North London - £1.7 to £2.5 million - depending on the road.

SilenceisMouldy · 26/10/2024 20:31

North-West - probably £1 million to £1.2 million.

Blinkingbonkers · 26/10/2024 20:31

Assuming garden is at least 1.5 acres you’d be looking at approx £1.2mil. Stick on another 4 acres you’d be looking at £1.5mil.

Apolloneuro · 26/10/2024 20:30

1.3 mill. South West

jaimelesoleil · 26/10/2024 20:29

TickingAlongNicely · 26/10/2024 18:40

3.4mil or 340k?

About 2.5 million near me.
350.000 will by you a one bedroom flat

JustHereWithMyPopcorn · 26/10/2024 20:22

£1.2 million or more depending on exactly which area.

newnamethanks · 26/10/2024 20:20

£2 - 2.5 million. Hampshire.

Iliketulips · 26/10/2024 20:20

I'd have guessed 900k-£1million. Just looked on Rightmove and there's a modern five bed three bathroom house for £2,350,000! A couple of older ones for £2,350,000 and £2,000,000, all within five miles.

PCOSisaid · 26/10/2024 20:19

Between 900k and £2.3m, literally dependant on a few miles difference (north England)

floorchid · 26/10/2024 20:18

1.5 - 2 million I reckon - depends on which side of the road. Ocean view or not.

Justgorgeous · 26/10/2024 20:16

1.3 million

ssd · 26/10/2024 20:16

Is this the op's house? Its gorgeous.

I'd say 950k here in Glasgow

Blahdeblah24 · 26/10/2024 20:16

Circa £1,600,000 for similar round my way

BunnyLake · 26/10/2024 20:15

Probably about £650-675k

RampantIvy · 26/10/2024 20:13

RampantIvy · 26/10/2024 20:06

£700k - £1.5m - rural with a fair amount of land.

South Yorkshire BTW near Barnsley.

Igmum · 26/10/2024 20:12

£2 million easily probably more

ForgettingMeNot · 26/10/2024 20:12

£1.5-£2m. South London borders.

catstaff47 · 26/10/2024 20:10

There is an estate of similar houses near here (London) - that would be at least £4 million around here.

PadstowGirl · 26/10/2024 20:09

£1.2m

HairyToity · 26/10/2024 20:08

600k

gotmyknickersinatwist · 26/10/2024 20:06

Thunderpants88 · 26/10/2024 18:46

northern Ireland

You couldn't pay me to live in Larne.
If that was in Belfast, depending on which area you could probably add 1 to the start of that price.

I think property has become really expensive here.
