I know this house! The house in the op would still be over a million in this area - the plot is significantly bigger.

Prime position on lovely main road coming into town, £600.

340K is a bargain!
Probably 800k plus on my road.
340k would get you a 3 bed semi that needs work or a 2 bed semi that is recently renovated and extended on my road.

5 minutes drive to the posh road near us, this would be 1 million plus easily. 🤣

That exact house would be 500-600. There are houses that meet the requirements, 5 bed, detached, enclosed gardens, 3 bathrooms which are around 350 but they are townhouses.

That would be a three bed semi, if you're lucky, where I live. More likely a two bed.

I couldn't give a price for my area, as it wouldn't get planning permission here (National Park).

I can find only one detached 5 bedroom house with a garden in this area on Rightmove. It sold in May. Asking price was £4.45 million. Much smaller garden obvs.

A house near my nan in Co Mayo.. as we are sort of thinking about it.. 5bed 4 bath Cong, Co Mayo €450k. 3000sqft on 1acre site, gym & games room, 1mile from town, lush green hills... lough Coirib not too far... but I want smaller, wife wants room for guests.

Depending on which part of town, £1m-£1.5m, maybe a bit more.

My 2-bed semi is worth £450k.

Depending on garden/land sits on... let's say 1200sqft downstairs and 1000 upstairs of house and 0.4 acre, the design of build & decor.. where I am... 750k depending on the school catchment.. but a period property same beds n baths 1.4million and a new build that's eco and all planet savvy £2mill.

But where I moved from IG7.. £3mill +

£550k round here but nothing is selling and hasn't been for months now. I think people are worried about the change of government and don't trust Reeves
