That's the one, the one who hates migrants but lives in Spain and was arrested in Canada for immigration offences.

The one who's a "stand up guy, telling it like it is" but has convictions for fraud, assault and harassment and knowingly associates with paedophiles.

It really is amazing what some people are willing to overlook just because someone the person says things that align with their prejudice isn't it?

It's not YLs fault? It may not be his 'fault' in your view but it is certainly his intention.

I'm not saying it's Tommy's fault but they share the same views. It's all about Muslims =grooming gangs, child abuse and terrorism. Asylum seekers are illegal frauds who are a threat to our women and children. These views have become so widespread. Certain groups in society are becoming dehumanised and othered with this language. Perfectly innocent and decent people are being attacked. Think about Nazi Germany and how Jews were dehumanised and blamed for all the problems in society. It's so dangerous. We have to fight against it.

According to the Yougov poll, around 34% of the population supported the racist riots. Not the violence but the reasons for them. These people are still a minority but a bloody big minority. This racist rhetoric that has become so normalised is like a poisin in our society. It's very dangerous.

I absolutely despise Tommy Robinson, Laurence Fox and all that crowd. And I do listen to what they say. That's why I despise them.
I'd love Tommy to get what he deserves but I do fear him being seen as more of a martyr than he already is. Can't help feeling he handed himself in on the eve of his big demo to rile up his supporters tomorrow.

I imagine it's because with people like Farage, Robinson and other far right influencers, the Overton window has shifted and people think everyone thinks this way.

People tend to receive lots of similar posts on social media which creates an echo chamber. Some of the stuff I've heard on a parenting forum (of all places) has been shocking.

I must confess to be a little confused at how refusing to give the pin for your phone gets you charged under the terrorism act. How exactly is not providing your mobile phone pin an act of terrorism? If the police asked for the pin of my phone and I say no, will i also be detained under the terrorism act? As opposed to obstructing the police like?

I've listened to him at length and he really isn't. He is clever and understands how to present as 'reasonable' to those who are not particularly bright and don't bother to fact check. He is also a skilled manipulator who knows your triggers.

Some of what he says is but then he fuels the far right. Some of what farage may seem OK but then he had the rest of his shit to. He's right about a few things I sit on the left by the way left centre but I love in a big Muslim area and I see issues for sure but it needs to be discussed by main stream politicians unfortunately because they didn't it left a big gaping hole that fed the far right
