I love my Tesla, and I got it years ago when EM wasn’t as much of a dangerous character as he is now.

I wouldn’t buy one now on principle.

Not MS because I need it for work and Bill Gates is a philanthropist. I do try and avoid Amazon due to tax evasion and treatment of workers. I can’t say I’m always on that though. It’s an area I fall down on when I need something quickly! No one’s perfect.

I would never buy an electric car. However, when it comes time Tesla will be the only electric car company I’ll give the time of day. I don’t give a toss about people’s politics generally. If they’re not a whack job liberal nut case it’s a bit of a bonus.

I have read that musk has a trans child and that is what motivated him on becoming anti woke (think he used to be a big democrat supporter). But who cares, he is highlighting things that our awful elites have tried to brush under the carpet. And if you don't believe that imagine if gangs of white men had been gang raping 12 year old Muslim girls and racially abusing them - it would have been wall to wall media coverage and outraged mps.

that said I think all big corporations have some unsavoury stuff going on so I fully admit it’s a bit hypocritical. But Elon Musk seems to be one of the worlds biggest problems right now.

Yes, I agree and the op is free to buy whatever she wants. I would feel the same if Keir Starmer owned a car company (not that he's likely to be a successful businessman!). But to compare to Hitler is abit ridiculous.

I’ve got an EV and will use Tesla charging points, where possible, if it needs charging when I’m away from home because they’re a lot cheaper than the other ones and that matters.

We chose a different EV and are grateful we did given the stuff he comes out with. DH has also stopped using PayPal even though he doesnt have a stake in it anymore. That I have found more difficult to part with. I personally cannot stand the man. Doubt he cares though.

Can't afford a Tesla. Not sure I'd want an all electric car anyway. But I've not knowingly bought a Nestle product since 1995. Don't use Amazon. Starbucks coffee is horrible anyway, so that's easy.

I don't know who.else to avoid!

I have to say, though, I don't look at other people's cars and assume that they must have researched the senior leadership team of the manufacturer and satisfied themselves that they are entirely aligned with the personal and political goals of them or they wouldn't have bought the car. I assume that they made the decision based on what they needed from a car and could afford.
