That’s just it really. I really need a cuddle but that’s not possible so can anybody just support me right now? My mental health is on the floor right now I’ve never felt as low it’s making me feel so ill

I would not be trying to see him, until he can show some respect and kindness. That's awful.

How would he like any future kids he might have talking to him that.
Nobody needs to put up with that.

Hi PassingStranger,
I am aware it is vile that he called me that name and the lack of respect he has for me but he is my son and I love and miss him tremendously.
Unfortunately he didn’t have a good role model on how women should/shouldn’t be treated and I do own up to the fact that it is partially my fault because I didn’t nip it in the bud when it started .
What I do know is that I won’t allow him to speak to me the way he has in the past.

Are you able to work @Imbluedalale ? Tell us a bit about yourself.

I feel like we’re a little crew now, all working together to support a friend in need. I’m a semi retired teacher, in my 60s. Live with hubby and have lots of grown up kids and beautiful grandkids.

Love cats and learning about Feng Shui and witchy things. Am making a dried lavender and rosemary stick to cleanse my house with.

Thanks for the update. Fingers crossed my belief in MP clout comes through! Media could probably run story under a different name/greyed out photo to protect you but let’s leave that aside as an option for now.
I love the book title & expect to be able to put it on my Christmas list in 2026 😀

I can’t believe it Apolloneuro.
It was @Ruralretreating that suggested I contact my local MP and @AdmittowearingCrocs who provided me with the details for the chief executive of the council . Thank you 🙏 to you both so much and thank you @Apolloneuro for helping me with the email and thank you to everybody else that has helped . I truly am so thankful to each and every one of you xx

Hiya! Morning is going ok here thanks - only two cups of tea so far, but the current one is a large one!

Given what you've gone through generally and in the last couple of weeks especially, you are doing really well to be still standing! It's beyond belief what you've gone through and are going through, and beyond amazing you are dealing with it all. I know you feel like you lack strength, but strength is not about feeling strong, it's about keeping on going even though you DON'T feel strong!

Im glad your morning is going ok, I’ve just put kettle on to have another cup of tea so I think it will be a tea drinking day today.
I didn’t ever view that as strength before but I like it. When I get settled I’m going to make a positive quotes book and write all the amazing quotes from this thread because they have helped me immensely.
