When Harry Met Sally
Back to the Future
The Talented Mr Ripley

Nearly every other Penelope Cruz movie I've seen

Peccary · 15/10/2024 23:16

Stardust, the Princess Bride

The Mummy (Brendan Fraser one obviously) Raiders of the Lost Ark, Tomb Raider. I love a good archaeological load of nonsense

Tittat50 · 15/10/2024 23:13

The Shawshank Redemption. It's not wholesome and pretty grim in places, but I just enjoy how it unfolds and that's a familiar comfort when I'm struggling.

Hazeltwig · 15/10/2024 23:12

The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Best film ever!

ErrolTheDragon · 15/10/2024 23:11

Quite a lot of those mentioned, but also most of the Star Trek films.

HappyDane · 15/10/2024 23:10

Oh goodness, forgot The Mummy!

And at Christmas, my top favourite film is The Bishop's Wife. It's a Wonderful Life is good too.

CesarSoubreyon · 15/10/2024 22:59

All my childhood favourites-

Overboard
Housesitter
First Wives Club
Death Becomes Her

(I love Goldie Hawn obviously!)

Also, Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead (starring a young Christina Applegate, Josh Charles and David Duchovny). Lots of summer holidays spent watching this whilst it was raining and we couldn't play out.
