This is my collection at the moment! I’m currently building the Lego Typewriter 🥰

I did a live chat this morning and I've been told to keep the GWPs 😃 so now I've two trains and two record players.

I’m so jealous. I’ve been after the record player, but I can’t justify spending the cost! That’s very honest of you btw!

It's easy to do. Assuming you don't live near a store, I'd chat their customer service team.

LegoTherapy · 02/12/2024 06:59

I've just checked my latest Lego order and I obviously wasn't paying attention because I've ordered two of the same thing for ds which explains in part why I'm getting a second record player. Without the second set I wouldn't have qualified for the record player gwp. I'll be sending back the second set because it's not something you'd have two of an it was £60. The question is: do I have to return the record player too? I'm not bothered because I've already got one but I think I might need to.

LegoTherapy · 01/12/2024 18:59

I might do a set tonight. I've got the Christmas bakery, sweet shop, and Christmas train that was the GWP. I might keep the record player and wrap it.
My latest order has been dispatched and I'm looking forward to having the tic tac toe game that was a points redemption item. I also want make some winter trees and things with the poly bags I got off vinted a few weeks ago. I dread to think how much I've spent on Lego this year.

WhichOneIsPosher · 01/12/2024 11:35

@LegoTherapy it's a tram that came with the holiday main street set. The track belongs to DS, pinched it from his lego train set!

@WhichOneIsPosher where did you get the Lego train? I'd love one.

I'm sleeping in my DD's room as my DH came out from hospital a few days ago. The Monstera is on top of her wardrobe with a Jellycat duck sitting in front of it. It looks as though the duck is wearing a mortar board as one of the leaves is positioned across the top of it's head. At least it's not another plant I have to water whilst she's away. Yes, RL Monstera, peace lily and various others, I'm looking at you

Early Christmas present from DH!

I've got that one , good choice you'll love it

Starling7 · 01/12/2024 00:11

Just don't forget that Lego sets can become very valuable after they are retired 😃

QuitChewingMyPlectrum · 01/12/2024 00:05

I did the titanic and my husband bought me a display case for that, and my modular/coliseum/Taj and another for my Eiffel tower.

I have a VERY serious addiction that needs to go away - the new modular is going to tempt me 🤦🏻‍♀️

ReginaaPhalangee · 01/12/2024 00:03

I really enjoyed building that set!

Not the best pic (I'm tired and can't be arsed to sort the table out properly) but here is our Christmas lego collection which is currently being built up. Got two more sets to go after this

I've done the American Office, whilst binging the series. Have just put the tuxedo cat on my Xmas list as it look like my 🐈

That's a fun build! I hope you get it soon 🥰

I would love that adventure calendar but there's other sets I'd love more. It looks fab. The festive sets are my favourites. I've built the pine lodge this week and got the festive sets out of storage. I'm glad I didn't dismantle them after Christmas because there's too many to rebuild every year. This is very much a first world problem.

We have just finished our Lego advent calendar set
Ordered endurance set with lots of free gifts today on Black Friday deal

I'm intrigued because I've already got the winter train and record player and thought it would be one per customer but obviously not.
I really must stop spending now.

LegoTherapy · 29/11/2024 10:54

I've back ordered a set for ds, ordered santas sleigh for our Christmas collection and something for ds's birthday. It's cheaper by £20 on Amazon but I've used £21 off in points plus hit the train and record player plus a tic tac toe game so I am happy with that.
