DD (7) got the Plum Blossom for Hanukkah today. Whizzed through it and is delighted with herself because it’s marked as 18+.

It was hugely difficult to find! She’d asked for it specifically after seeing it in the catalogue, but I left it quite late because I assumed it’d be everywhere, and it ended up being out of stock or on back order wherever I looked. Tracked it down to one remote branch of Argos.

Happy Hanukkah! 🕎

Merry Christmas all! Here are the LEGO sets I got today. Very spoiled!

I’d like to buy the LEGO Jazz Quartet set out of my Christmas money, but it isn’t in stock anywhere!

Excited to see what Lego sets posters on here get for Christmas!

I had a delivery earlier today from Lego with one of the Disney 100 sets that's retiring soon - it's the wee picture one

It's time for the annual Build the Christmas Tree.

Lego building going well here
Endurance is under construction
Finlay is enjoying catching Lego birds
We have built gift with purchase garden gate, Xmas train etc

We did our GWP Christmas train yesterday - great build and a decent size for a freebie. Also liked the Winter Village post office this year - our village is getting rather crowded as all the minifigs from various advent calendars are there too

We've made two sets of the Lego daffodils today. Daffodils have a specific festive symbolism in our family and it's hard to get the actual flowers now so I got Lego ones. I didn't enjoy building them at all and it's put me off buying any of the flowers now. They look great in the jug I'm using for them though and they won't die. Knowing my luck I'll find some real ones in the shops tomorrow 😩

I love the daffodils! I find that the lotus flower set was the best build out of the flowers
