AiBU to have a raging crush on Eminem

I'm the same age as him! As i get older I've developed a massive crush on him.

Please tell me I'm not the only one & that it'll go away 😀

I definitely don’t fancy him but love his music as I grew up with it. I’ve never actually come across anyone in the industry with anything but praise for him in terms of his character. People rave about him as a person and I guess that’s way more attractive than looks to me. Especially when he could have so easily gone the other way!

I don't fancy him (especially with the aforementioned David Gest beard) but I always found the sex scene between him and Brittany Murphy in 8 Mile incredibly hot. Movie sex scenes are usually so blah.

He’s a genius lyricist and I’ve recommended him to my teenage daughter who is studying literature. He’s a great writer and musician

He fairly is good looking and probably quite bright but I can't get over his attitude to women. Even if he was rapping as a character, some of the misogyny in his lyrics is unforgivable and deeply unattractive.

I hadn’t seen a photo with the dyed hair, he always seems to have his hood up now.

I too am a fan of him and most of his songs - I took my nephew to see him over 20 years ago.

Cant believe he is 50!

I'm kind of glad that Dildo is no more. Even though Stan is such a clever song.

Not that it matters but Eminem seems Neurodivergent. I think he refers to Asperger's ( now would be called high functioning autism) in one of his songs. It would explain his unique and fierce independence and refusing to just fall in line.

I imagine life was incredibly difficult growing up feeling so different and having a mum who was clearly not able to meet his needs.

When I watched 8 mile, I wondered if mum's boyfriend Greg was really so vile. ( Although I love the actor playing Greg; Michael Shannon).

I expect Dido made a pile of money from songwriting.
Eminem seems fairly bright, he'd look better (and younger) if he'd stop dyeing his hair.

Yes I'm with you on this. Even though I also agree there is a David Gest look going on with the dye job.

There's something about his demeanor, having had no one at all really in his childhood and still making it through and being around for his daughter
