I had a friend whose teenage son (16 ish) used to walk around naked whilst I was there. His mother thought it odd.... me even moreso! The son was non-plussed chatting whilst completely starkers.

He still does it because I haven't mentioned it to him and he's 13 so not thinking about it in any way, I've just recently bought short pj's that he likes so the hairy arse crack is now covered with out having a conversation about it

I do sympathise with the op because it doesn't seem like it's just bum cracks out here and teenagers need to learn what's acceptable and what's not

My sons do this ( well eldest doesn't) dh doesn't dh doesn't like it but I think it's their home too. It doesn't upset me. But it would if dh did it. Ds16 is tshirt and boxers or his pjs. My 12 year old is just his boxers which is worse but he is disabled so has bigger worry than looking presentable at all time.

They will get dressed when asked without a argument.

Nah I don't think I could be arsed to be bothered. Mines 13 years old and his dad 47. Both in T-shirts and pants often. I just don't care! They're both clean, they both comfy. If I catch a glimpse of anything, well it's a body part not an AK-47.

In my house it's two females versus three males. Females are sensible and often frozen. No problems there. The boys act like it's summer all year round. DH and the boys try to live in underpants at home. They own clothes, lots of them, but no. There's lots of fgs go put some trousers on from the females. DH loves the Lego movie because the guy keeps saying where's my pants? That's all I ever hear. In a way I'm glad it's not just my family. Anyway I have bigger problems, the five year old is starting to flash for attention. None of the others did it. He's going to be 18 one day, I dread to think what he will be like. We have to be very firm and say it isn't acceptable. The underpants thing looks tamer in comparison but still not great.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, I'm sure he will grow out of it if you keep telling him not to !
