Glad to see justice finally. These crimes go back to 2003-2008. But what protections are in place now to prevent the same abuse? The victims here were in the care system and so badly let down. Where were the adults who were responsible for these children some as young as 11?

These girls, some of the most vulnerable in society, were treated like scum and completely dismissed by systemic misogyny.

I hope these convictions provide them with a modicum of comfort and that they have the help and support they need.

Anyone who allowed this predatory behaviour to continue unabated, should be prosecuted.

Big headline figure but between 7, not so long considering what they did. Will they be out early with “good behaviour”?

I’m very glad that their heinous behaviour will be very much frowned upon by fellow inmates. Perhaps they’ll understand how it feels to be fearful every day. Good.

What the then-11 year old victim said was so shocking and upsetting. She had her whole life stolen from her. Can't believe it's taken so long to get justice. And this is still happening in places. Crazy!

There was a victim statement read out in court which was heartbreaking, I really hope these women can get a modicum of solace from the sentencing of these cretins.
