Would you have sex-missionary with someone if offered money

If so, how much would it have to be?

Discussion at work quite a few years ago, inspired by the Demi Moore film. I was younger and had more money than now. If someone asked you to sleep with them for x amount of money-say half a million, would you? Missionary only, over quickly
I was aghast and said no, most said of course they would.

Now, I think I feel differently

Would you?

I want to say hell no, no way. But actually I might! Only if dh agreed though - which he probably wouldn't.

Singleandproud · 27/11/2024 17:10

As long as there werent any (what I consider) weird kinks involved and he used protection absolutely. I wouldnt even need a million, I'd want more than £200 though. £5000 would probably be my minimum but it would have to be safe, no amount of money is worth your health

Possibly not if I was in committed relationship as I don't think it'd survive.

From what the mum has told me, she meets this one guy regularly. They spend an evening and night together. He leaves in the morning. I'm assuming they do it multiple times.

Ah, that's very different.

The more logical and relevant question is would you have an hour's sex for £200 since that is the market rate.

An hour's worth of sex?

In all my years I've never known a man to last an hour! Damn I'm probably too old for him to be interested in me.

Oh, you'll be surprised.

I will be not just surprised but astonished.

It is not easy money; it is fantasy money. Nobody in the real world pays that much for sex, or anything like it

Oh, you'll be surprised.

Flumoxed · 27/11/2024 14:12

I've had sex I regretted before. Why not regret it AND get half a million at the same time?

LoveLifeBeHappy · 27/11/2024 10:15

Do this once a week, that's £4k a month for about half an hour's work. Easy money in my opinion.

Absolutely

AEP123 · 27/11/2024 11:17

Yep, sign me up!

RhaenysRocks · 27/11/2024 11:13

I agree. The difference it would make to me and my kids' futures is huge. I've always been able to separate sex from emotion. If I thought I could do it with NO chance of it being uncovered I would.

Anyone who gets £1k for one sexual encounter is to be congratulated, not scorned. Or convicted of lying. It's so many miles above the going rate as to be absurd.

As a one off no
I’m quite sure it’s not as psychologically damaging as the constant endless worrying about being skint does, it drags you down and impacts your physical and mental health

my answer is yes I would op

Congratulations. Someone honest!

Winston comes across as a bit of an arse in that story.

It was not Churchill who said that;it was George Bernard Shaw.

Tomorrowisyesterday · 23/11/2024 12:15

He does, yes. I mean suppose someone asked to sleep with you and in return could promise a cure for cancer, or world peace. You could argue it would be morally wrong to refuse. But that is still a "price" if you like so you have accepted there is a price worth your body.

NotSoHotMess24 · 23/11/2024 11:34

PetuniaT · 14/09/2024 21:35

Reminds me of the Winston Churchill story:
“Churchill: "Madam, would you sleep with me for five million pounds?" Socialite: "My goodness, Mr. Churchill... Well, I suppose... we would have to discuss terms, of course... "
Churchill: "Would you sleep with me for five pounds?"
Socialite: "Mr. Churchill, what kind of woman do you think I am?!"
Churchill: "Madam, we've already established that. Now we are haggling about the price.”
We've already established that they will fork. Now we are haggling about the price.

and that's what kind of woman you would be!
