Is this for the tv adaptation? Exciting

Got such a nostalgic feeling when I saw that! 😄 I remember queuing up for the books in my local shopping centre when it all started, and going to see the movies in cinema.

I'm only 615 months...

Bugger. About 35 years too old…

I might try this with my 10 yo DS - just for fun if nothing else!

Mine is 9 and is going for it. Although I secretly hope she doesn’t get it- imagine the media attention and scrutiny. She loves acting though so we’ll give it a go

I know, as much as I think it would be an amazing experience and opportunity, the scrutiny would be pretty horrendous

Dd is 9 and a red head. Would be a perfect Ginny. But she hates Harry potter and is shy 😁

My son would love to do this but he is 12!

Same, my DD12 would make an awesome Hermione 🤣

I think it's great, though my DS10 won't be trying for it.

I read there will be a movie on Britney Spears and I think that should have an open casting call too.
