Are a Beatles tribute band.

Nothing wrong with that. Stuff they've done is quite catchy.

But basically, they're just riding on the coat tails of The Beatles.

Every tune or song they sing or write is reminiscent of the Beatles in their heyday. I like Oasis. Being a 60s child, I can see quite clearly that the Gallagher brothers have been heavily influenced by the Beatles.

And there's nothing wrong with that, either. Excepting that youngsters think that that Oasis have their own particular style of music. They don't. They pinched it from The Beatles.

I'm not anti Oasis. I've said they are good and I like them.

Oasis have always said they’re influenced by the Beatles, so what

Just checking to see how many people agree with me. Is that ok with you?

Here we go again. Can you not join one of the other, equally boring, threads about this?

TheClawDecides · 31/08/2024 23:15

Yeah because youngsters have never heard anything by the Beatles, ever.

Can we create an oasis board to hide all these threads?
