Is DH thick as mince?

We are abroad on hol atm, 6th floor room.
DH took DD,4, back for a snack and play in our room at hottest part of day.
Over dinner tonight he told me he left DD playing on the balcony while he had a shower. It's a glass wall shorter than she is with a little wall she could also climb up.
He says she is very sensible, sees no issue at all, I am fucking livid he did this. AIBU?

I think in this case it is entirely warranted.

She isn’t safe in his ‘care’, clearly.

Of course Yanbu and if this is real (I struggle to believe it is because surely no one would actually do this) then I would be considering my future with him because he cannot be trusted to be a decent parent.

He is wrong, obviously but what a horrible thing to say about your husband.

I think it's on point here. Who the hell does that?!

YANBU. On our holiday this year DH wouldn’t let out almost 7yr olds on the balcony alone even though the wall was a head taller than them. It’s never worth the risk.

Dear god, yup he's thick as mince. Is he normally so stupid?

Glad your DD was ok
