Yes. I identified her sink and called round earlier today. She didn't offer me a tuna sandwich.

Surprised she was in.
Thought she'd be running - not walking - to get that dress that's a perfect dupe for some designer outfit.

(And - looking back at quote history:

Nanny0gg
Seriously?

No. Not seriously.)

Is no one else bothered by the gap between the work surface and the upstand / back panel bit in the photo?

does it not need sealant OP?

Now that you mention it , yes it's very anxiety driving.

@Tunotips life changing awesome hack..... get some sealer around the gaps by your edging above sink. It'll save bacteria, dirk and grime, getting down there. Sealant is amazing stuff, you must get some.

I don't understand? Your life hack is to drain something by letting liquid run out of the hole???

😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for this, I was drinking water and now it's all over my baby & shirt 😂😂😂

tolerable · 19/08/2024 09:45

you get sink trackers??
omg! run and hide

Tahlbias · 19/08/2024 09:44

Does anyone have that one weird tip that melts belly fat that doctors in your area don't want you to know about?

OMG!! You too??!

DiscoBeat · 19/08/2024 09:31

You'll like my stepson's hack then. He stores tins of beans/tomatoes etc upside down so that when he opens it the contents all floomp out in one.

This pleases me. Just as the paint tin one did some years back, store the tin upside down so no film forms.

My mum (born in 1915) would have called a life hack, a wrinkle.

Oh my Mum called them those, too!
"Here's a wrinkle for you!"

TheGreenKnight · 19/08/2024 09:36

TheCadoganArms · 19/08/2024 07:08

Can we dispense with using the American term of 'life hack' and just revert back to good old fashioned 'useful tip' please.

My mum (born in 1915) would have called a life hack, a wrinkle.

reallifeboogie · 19/08/2024 09:31

Use a potato peeler to "peel" cheese

It's easier to wipe your arse sitting on the toilet.

I can't work out if this is a joke hack or meant seriously (in the context of the rest of the post).
How else would anyone wipe?

KateDelRick · 19/08/2024 09:22

MakeMeATea · 19/08/2024 09:12

Put bananas in the fridge they last longer.
The skin will still brown but the banana inside will be good for up to 2 weeks.

Other life hacks.
It's easier to wipe your arse sitting on the toilet.
Keep a bin by the loo and use baby wipes for messy shits.
You're welcome.

Oh dear. This may trigger a MN bathroom bin discussion...

Moreofthesamenothanks · 19/08/2024 09:20

l'm tots obsessed with this insane life hack. Get up 10 mins earlier in the morning, you'll do the school run 10 mins earlier and be 10 mins earlier at everything you do all day!

Totally awesome life changer 🙌

mondaytosunday · 19/08/2024 06:24

If I did that my cat would have that can of tuna in a millisecond and be carrying around like prize game (he's a Maine Coon so as big as a dog).

😂 Maine coons are the ultimate food stealers.

I have an INSANE life hack.

Hate the taste of eggs?
Super easy to solve:

Just mix the eggs with sugar, chocolate, butter and flour, bake for 30 mins.
You'll love the taste of eggs INSTANTLY

🤣🤣

Genius can't wait to try, how long can you keep it for?

Depends on your freezer I think.

Oh dear.

I know. I'm a nitwit. But the golden age of MN joke threads was the one before the bots, scammers, etc posted so many shedloads of garbage OPs. Hard to tell them apart now. Unless you RTFT, of course.

katepilar · 19/08/2024 08:58

Are you letting oil dripping into the sink? Damaging the pipes?
