Molly Mae and Tommy Fury are probably the most famous couple to come out of love island, and Molly Mae is the most successful love island contestant. She is hugely successful influencer and has power, Molly mae just has to wear an item and it will be sold out across the country and half of the under 25s wearing it.

Whether you like it or not the influencer/reality TV world is huge. These people are very famous amongst at least younger people. They've made their career off selling a perfect relationship. In the big scheme of news it's notification worthy, not interrupt eastenders worthy.

I hate it when people pretend influencers/reality TV stars aren't famous just because they aren't famous for something. It's a big celeb break up, they have more influence on young people than bloody gwyneth paltrow and Chris Martin ever had

That's right, it was a joke - two of the big US financial bodies that hit headlines in the 2008 crash and bailouts are known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

I saw the breakup announced on Sky News and thought they were dead.

Molly Mae and Tommy are classed as quite big stars by lots of late teens and people in their early 20s, and the news is for those age groups too. I'm not a love island fan or into influencers at all but those 2 things are huge now so I'm not surprised it's on as breaking news, even though it's not something I'm interested in.

About 12% of the country was watching the episodes of Love Island that they were on - that is definitely a significant 'star'.

Him and Tommy are very involved in Charities and have a particular interest in MH. He has a Traveler background, which is a minority that we are allowed to be discriminatory towards.
