Dh has been working away for two weeks (first time doing this)
He brought gifts home for Dd-a teddy, books, sweets, nothing for me, would it bother you?
Would yours bring something for you?

No, I agree that’s something for kids but not spouses.

Wouldn’t cross my mind.

Yes I think you’re being unreasonable. He bought your child gifts, because she’s a child. That’s what you do for your kids when you’re away. I’ve gone away for work a couple of times and I never bought my DH a gift-because he’s a grown man and I’m not his mother.
And no, I absolutely would not expect him to fork out on a gift for me if he’s been away working. He wasn’t on a jolly. He was working

No he wouldn’t and nor do I when I work away. Presents for kids yeah as it’s toys/books/sweets, I don’t need those things brought back
