.... to ask what you are having for lunch

I have asked before... I am now asking again... mumsnetters, what are you having for lunch?

I had white rice with curried lentils, spicy cabbage, and chutney. I wish I had some sweet treats in but I don't so will probably eat a spoon of jam.

I had leftovers. Roast chicken, mash potato and long stem broccolli. I am working from home so made some bisto for over the top and it was amazing.

I am currently on a diet so everything tastes delicious.

DH made me an omelette with spring onion, cheddar and tomato and I had a chunk of focaccia bread I bought at the market this morning. I will probably have some fruit before I go to work later.

Nutella, and cornflakes is my go to in times like this (pour some in jar, and dig in) ...😂

Feta and beetroot salad with homemade dressing.
But I should have take the white t-shirt off first or worn a pinny 😭

Two cheese and chutney sandwiches on sourdough (the sourdough is a bit flat so they were quite small), and some watermelon. The chutney and the sourdough are both home made, although not by me, so it was a good lunch all round.

Salad - rocket, black beans, beetroot, feta and pumpkin seeds. EV olive oil.

Then yoghurt with blueberries, mixed seeds and honey.

Then an iced coffee.

I got lucky the baby was asleep, the older one in a fit of efficiency had picked too much lettuce so it had to be eaten! Another day’s lunch can literally be nothing as I haven’t had a chance to stop.

Slice of rye bread topped with cottage cheese, blistered cherry tomatoes, basil leaves and some balsamic vinegar.

Then a honey and apricot Skyr.

It's not even nearly lunchtime here yet, but I've been thinking about lunch all morning!
