To think Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have had the worst relationship ever

It's quite spectacular the downfall from leading couple in the world to the children changing their names when they turn 18. Divorces happen but the scale of the disintegration is wild. If only Ange was on MN to get advice on red flags. 🚩

Jo Lo and Ben A is turning into a bit of a mess.
The children changing their names is a separate issue to Brad and Ange. He was supposedly violent.
I hate the way people think that they know them.

It was odd to me how everything seemed to be going swimmingly for years and then fell apart when Brad and Angelina actually got married.

Good grief, lots more than I originally thought about. I suppose I was thinking about the fallout with children as well after being set up as god like perfection.

There have been a lot of bad celeb break ups.

Brad is just a drug addict who'd be in jail if he wasn't rich.

Shannen Docherty's husband delaying divorce to benefit if she died before it went through was worse.

It's not also just about big egos- they both have very explosive characters, living on the edge, I presume with lots of substances going on (both her ex husbands lead quite wild lives). I kind of think most actors, especially the very top ones, are a bit/very messed up, and I cant think of many long term couples at this stage where something fucked up would not have happened, most just manage to keep it away from the media.

Brad and Angelina were always going to be a car crash. Two huge publicity hungry egos never makes for a harmonious relationship.
The kids must have had a challenging upbringing for all their wealth and privilege.
