To think Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have had the worst relationship ever

It's quite spectacular the downfall from leading couple in the world to the children changing their names when they turn 18. Divorces happen but the scale of the disintegration is wild. If only Ange was on MN to get advice on red flags. 🚩

Google says yes, Brad Pitt and Sinitta dated. I'm shocked. I thought I knew my Jen/Brad/Gywneth/Ben/Jen/Jen romantic histories inside out.

If you look back at Brad's dating history. He probably spent the least time with JA. Which was one of the reasons put forward by both of them for the split, they'd barely saw each other for a year. He had a intense two years with Sinita and described Paltrow as the one that got away.
People seem to want to think of Jolie in her messed up years. When her Charity work has become what defines her for others. She's been a special agent for the UN. Her humanitarian work is refuee and women and children focused. She visits refugee camps etc. She's added environmental work because you can't seperate the two. Like a lot of couples that drink and take drugs together, it sounds as though she out grew him.

No surprise. He hardly sees them because the relationship with their mother is toxic so why inflict that onto the children. It's better for him never to see them if all it does is reignite the hatred.

Henry viii tried six times with no success.
Maybe some people just can’t make a success out of marriage.
I’ve only tried once, it was so awful I’ve no wish to try again.
Two DC’s are the only good thing to come out of it.

Its like the Amber and Johnny drama. AH was abusive, we know that from other relationships, but no way was Johnny not violent and aggressive as well. I had a conversation with a man and another woman and he was really surprised when we both said that we would not feel safe in a room alone with JD, he seemed to think that it was a zero sum game.

That was my first thought to be honest. Well, not the just desserts part. But, clearly neither of them have great morals. People with good morals don't steal other women's husbands.
It's always the kids I feel sorry for in these situations though.

She was mid thirties when they separated. She has spoken lately about TTC and IVF in her 30s & 40s. Splitting then probably didn't help her chances at all.

Why has Brad not been cancelled like Johnny Depp almost has?
I do think Johnny was abusive BTW. Love that people thought he wasn't just because he wasn't to Kate Moss and Vanessa.

He's got a 34 year old gf apparently and not averse to having kids with her, despite the fact most of the kids he already has are NC with him. Nothing like just starting again with a new family at 60 is there 🙄

Jolie can’t move on because Pitt keeps suing her.

Like a classic abuser refusing to give up control and let her live her life away from him.

The most depressing bit is the number of women rushing to excuse Pitt.

Famous in their day: Ted Hughes, poet laureate and Sylvia Plath, she did do much to help him in his career but he cheated on her when she had 2 small babies, she left then killed herself.

Then the woman he shacked up with killed herself and accidentally their joint child.

The decades later the Hughes/Plath son killed himself.

I'm not so sure that Shura's death was "accidental" actually. It was hideous all round.
