These "protests" just look like a load of people out for a fight. People on live steams talking about going to get beer and seem to be having a great time.
Causes are lost because of reasons like this? Why would I support you when you are destroying my city? Setting fire to bins? Throwing all sorts at the police. I can't support this.

Doesn't help the police are massively under resourced and underfunded. This makes these protests harder to police as you don't have enough officers - the tories crippled the police in funding for the past 15 years and it is showing

The protests are not protests but violent racist thuggery

EasternStandard · 04/08/2024 09:11

These threads are predictable tbf with the insults over rationality, this disorder is going to increase and it was easy to see from ages ago

I guess we’ll need some more time before posters can read without attacking and see where we are in a year or so

EasternStandard · 04/08/2024 08:59

Since the pp was unable to get a post it’s pretty simple

This was foreseeable

In fairness, male violence is very predictable.

Oh dear. The right-wing support button appears to have a malfunction. Try switching it off for a while then try again.

Oh dear the insults do fly when someone points out what will happen and it does

Why get angry about that? Because it’s going wrong?

Well yeh they got voted out and many switched to Reform

Difficulty for Labour is rioting

Which government was rioting “difficult” for in 2011? Are you seriously suggesting the knuckledraggers wouldn’t have rioted under a Tory government (like they did 13 years ago)?

EasternStandard · 04/08/2024 08:47

ArmFromUll · 04/08/2024 08:45

Do you want to try again? That first sentence doesn't make sense.

Given I have been posting disorder is likely I’d say I got it right. Here we are with exactly that.

‘Remember you’ wtf how odd

😂😂 😂
Um wasn’t it the Tories who kept banging on about the need to Stop the Boats for 14 years and Brexit being the answer to all our woes.

They failed spectacularly on both. Should the Tories have “ faced some difficulty”?

With the latter Remainers were told to just get over it even though the entire country was lied to and Brexit has had a massive detrimental impact on the UK. Nobody is even allowed to mention the B word.

It’s just laughable how the hard left justify their childish thuggish behaviour.

Is that what the riots are about? Any evidence you can link to?

In Hull I believe this started peaceful but between 2 groups. One anti immigration and one pro. There are photos where you can see police in their normal uniform. But as per usual, the thugs come out who just want to cause violence.

Mn obviously doesn’t cover numbers but the DM does.

If Labour keep seeing the increase they are disorder is more likely.

It’s pretty simple and ridiculous posts from below about remembering whatever from pp doesn’t change how easy it was to see. If they can’t ‘smash the gangs’ as pledged Labour will be facing some difficulty here

😂😂 😂

I doubt you’ll placate from mn posts but politicians have a tough time ahead if their trafficking policy fails

Fluufer · 04/08/2024 08:30

Perhaps the rioters could start by clearing up exactly what they are "protesting" about. It's quite difficult to placate idiots who don't seem to know what they actually want beyond "blah blah blah something muslims" and starting fires.

newnamethanks · 04/08/2024 08:33

I expect they're very upset by VAT on private school fees.

newnamethanks · 04/08/2024 08:32

We elected politicians 4 weeks ago. Some posters appear to have mistaken them for magicians.

Trump, Farage aided by the poisonous snake oil of Brexit has caused this and encouraged it. They'll be picking over the smoking remains left by those stupid enough to destroy their own communities to see what they can gain from it. "I love the poorly educated" says Trump. Of course he does.

EasternStandard · 04/08/2024 08:27

Fluufer · 04/08/2024 08:18

Oh please. They would have found another excuse to smash stuff up soon enough.
And I think you're being far too generous suggesting that any of these degenerates have a clue about any policy changes.

Burying your head in the sand won’t help you or Starmer. This was foreseeable a mile off.

They should have given policy change more than a second’s thought.

No labour policy has "caused" anything in the space of less than a month. Grown men looking for an excuse to throw their toys out the pram. There's no justification.
