Just been to the gym. I'm now sitting on the sofa, having a coffee, watching the Olympics and scrolling on Mumsnet,

I'm going to my partners this afternoon so need to have a shower and make myself look presentable, but in all honesty, I'd happily remain where I am for the rest of the day!

Sitting in the garden of a new local cafe waiting for them to bring me a lovely veggie breakfast. Then I’m getting my nails done. DH is at home dealing with some double glazing units being replaced. Think we’ll watch some Rings of Power later - we’re rewatching ahead of the new series coming out.

Just put DS2 down for his nap and am sat on the sofa. DS1 is asking for his lunch and the house is a mess so I will get up in a moment. My reward will be a cup of tea and a cherry Bakewell in an hour or so!

Taking a breather with a cold drink after a full on clean of upstairs. Downstairs can wait until this afternoon - although I cleaned the fridge and cleared out the unidentifiable things from the freezer first thing.

We have visitors next week so I am trying to reduce the last minute frantic tidy up.

Looking forward to a chilled evening with a glass bottle of wine and some mindless TV. Might even order a takeaway delivery.

I've just finished laying up the dining table for a birthday celebration tomorrow, then I've made a rice salad for lunch.
DH has nipped out to get some caster sugar and I'm trying not to eat the rice salad before he gets home.....

Slobbing on the couch piddling about on mumsnet while ds plays fortnite.

We had a pretty busy and productive day yesterday, and both have a busy week ahead of us, so we're having a chill day today.

I might be really exciting later and wash the cushion covers on my couch. Dfs says not to but according to a few people I've spoken to you can. It's beige and really needs more than a spot clean

going to have lunch soon - some nice bread and cheese bought from farm shop, then psyching myself up to do some painting round the house - my never ending job.

how bad/expensive is the work from the survey?

is it money or hassle (or both) putting you off?

im just waiting for something to finish then im going for a walk in the common behind my house, hoping the horses are out running free today. First time in over a week it hasn't been too hot to go. Remembering to go straight to the shop after to buy some milk for my latte when I get home.
