Well how? My budget will only stretch to supermarket own brand beans, yet everywhere I look people are eating Heinz beans. How do they afford it?

Do you sell foot pics on only fans? Maybe of feet covered in beans Grin

Yes, and ashamed to say I'm falsely advertising my bunion as a red kidney bean.

vodkaredbullgirl · 31/07/2024 18:00

Bath in beans 😄

Only Fans and prostitution.

That's the only way I can afford them.

I also long for a bottle of Heinz tomato ketchup, so may take in some ironing.

Although frankly, the latter would make me disgusted at myself.

Sorry I just had to laugh at the comments! 🤣🤣

Bonjovispjs · 31/07/2024 17:58

Hilarious that some people are taking this thread seriously 🤣 And baked beans are horrible anyway.

Oh FFS, some people can afford champagne, lobster and caviare! Not all, but some. We all have different levels of income, and different spending priorities. And, let's face it, baked beans have never been considered a luxury item.....

Exactly this!

Rainbowbaby234 · 31/07/2024 17:55

Aldi beans are actually much tastier.

GenAvocadoOnToast · 31/07/2024 17:55

The never-never I suspect

I’ll always buy Heinz no matter the price. Anyone who says own brands are better are lying to themselves

Branston beans are about 50 times better than Heinz. Theres no comparison.

I’d honestly cut something else out of my budget than have to compromise on Branston beans 😂

Newrumpus · 31/07/2024 17:52

Marmite27 · 31/07/2024 17:43

They’re not even nice!

I prefer branston, but ALDIs are a close second.

Good taste

Even Asda essentials (previously smart price) beans are 27p. I remember when they were 4p.
Mind you, when ex and I first lived together 20 years ago we could get a leg of lamb for 97p and have a Sunday roast.

AntoinetteCurtain · 31/07/2024 17:52

I saw someone eating Heinz beans in the back of a brand new BMW X5685 the other day, they also had a 90inch TV and a goat.

Bet they were swindling their benefits

BotterMon · 31/07/2024 17:52

I had them for dinner last night on a baked potato and finished them at lunch today on toast. Sold a kidney and have a 6 pack of Heinz BB that I eek out over the year.

Maybe inheritance?

Good point. Or perhaps their family is bulk buying heinz baked beans and giving them away to avoid inheritance tax?

Lol OP is taking the piss about the endless similar threads

Do some people get their beans on a lease? I know some people do that with cars.

😂😂😂

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 31/07/2024 17:51

Many of the people you see eating beans will have inherited them from their parents. Some families are made of beans.

Reallybadidea · 31/07/2024 17:44

Taking out loans/extending their mortgage/financial help from family I would guess?

Maybe inheritance?

yeesh · 31/07/2024 17:50

I’ve seen people in council estates buying Heinz, every other trolley had them in. I earn 100k and can only afford dented tins of dust

Sunnydiary · 31/07/2024 17:50

They’re all buying them on credit cards.

I can’t wait until the bailiffs come and repossess all my SILs beans.

Beth216 · 31/07/2024 17:49

I mean we wouldn't eat more that one tin a week so it hardly breaks the bank even though they are comparatively expensive.

RabbitsRock · 31/07/2024 17:49

DH prefers Heinz & I get them from FarmFoods when there’s an offer on. Tescos are nice & apparently they’re made by Heinz. Haven’t tried Branstons but several of my customers recommend them.
