German refugee charity warns 'integration has FAILED'

In a bombshell interview, staff at a leading youth organisation in Germany have said the continuing influx of refugees means the system is at breaking point. They called for a 'freeze' in admissions.

I replied to an op but never specifically mentioned drug use. Stop misquoting it makes for very poor, immature discussion.

My DS is just back from a month working all over Germany. He was surprised at the level of open hard drug use in the street in particularly Frankfurt and Essen and how it seemed to be accepted. He's spent his whole life in major UK cities and is pretty streetwise but was still shocked at that and noticeable poverty.
Also seriously unimpressed with Deutsche Bahn.
Evidently all isn't rosy, sadly.

The Southport killings are not immigration related but good old SM has made it that way.
The protests would have been more successful if it was outside parliament and it was targeted at the government banning knives like they did with guns after Dunblane

Yeah, as I said - foreigners who weren't born in this country and who have their own language, customs, clothes, foods and drinks.

If integration is causing so many problems we should do it properly, right? The debate about who we should be letting in should apply to everyone, right?

Or is there something indefinably different about someone coming to England from Glasgow compared to someone coming here from, say, Rwanda?

I remember watching a documentary where a load of Syrian refugees in Germany were boarding a bus to begin the journey back home to Syria through Europe. They claimed that in Germany they were treated very badly and made to feel very unwelcome.

Maybe if the West stopped bombing countries or seeking arms so countries could be destroyed, we wouldn't have so many displaced civilians.

I appreciate you condemning all riots, but what is the relevance of the Leeds riots to this discussion? Unclear why you picked on those riots in particular to expressly mention. I'm not aware of any involvement of the EDL in the Leeds riots.

This poster is exactly right. The hypocrisy of the enabling left makes me sick. They scream racist to shut any discussion down, and the wheel keeps turning. The discussion is not being had. The elephant in the room is not addressed and then we turn on the news to hear another massacre has occurred.

Funny enough there is a threat urging MN to look at this one or basically to delete this discussion as out of control racist. At the same time in the same thread above one poster is saying that at least is not all bad news as Maduro won the elections. 😡 A friend of mine was hurt fighting for their freedom yesterday in Venezuela. Only a hard left person who would still agree with the dictator stealing the elections. Let’s see how MN handles this situation of “far right “ vs hard left?

@Mimififi and to add to that he has been living in Ireland 20 years! Had mental health issues and was the product of our mental health services, that's where the real issues lie. It is so basic and simple to blame all societies issues on immigrants.

Was his crime known to be related to his ethnicity? Just wondering what I blame for Hungerford, say, or Dunblane. Or what about the mass killings in Norway? He was definitely born and bred

A lot of Brits in Spain don't make much attempt to learn Spanish either. As a Scottish person living in Scotland I quite possibly know more Spanish than some ex-pats (immigrants) do, and definitely know more German than some folk living in Germany!

Absolutely. Why, only last week I was in London and there was this bloke who was obviously not from around here. He could barely speak English and dressed in some kind of weirdo foreign get-up that looked like a sodding skirt with a purse on the front. From what I could tell he was from somewhere called "glazgee" or "glasge" but who knows? I think he was trying to find somewhere selling his ethnic food. "Neeps an' tatties" or something.

If people are coming here from another country they should at least learn to speak our language, right?

People's rights are linked to the past, correct.
