Wearing a skimpy bikini around teenage son

I'm late 40's and have recently lost alot of weight. I have treated myself to some new bikinis for an upcoming beach holiday and some are thong styles. I did originally buy the thong ones for when me and DH go away later in the year alone. But every holiday I go on abroad there is so many people younger and older than me showing all their bums! When I was a teen it was rare, but not anymore. Just not sure I'm brave enough or if it would be a massive no with adult/teen children! Wwyd?

My main concern would be, in the first few days of your holiday, if you bum is particular large and white, then other folk on the beach may be adversely affected by photoketatitsis. 😎

Just make sure you use moist toilet wipes and clean yourself properly after going to the toilet. This is what thong bikini wearers fail to do when inflicting the public with the sight of their unclean arses. They can only see the front view however the public can see the back view & it's not a pretty sight.

Oh OP I want to say do whatever makes you feel good but I think it’s a no - poor teens. I would have died if my mum had her arse hanging out when I was a teenager 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ save that for your adult

My daughter's have been used to seeing their dad naked from the day they were born and they wouldn't bat an eyelid even now at him being naked.
Do what you're comfortable with.

Just because you've conditioned your kids not to object to your naked body doesn't mean those who haven't done that have done things wrong nor does it mean that every parent should just do what they are comfortable with with no consideration of their kids.

I was all set to agree with you as a (mid) late 40's bikini wearing Mum of teenagers.

However, thong bikinis are ridiculous. For all ages regardless of body type.

Thongs look good on no-one.

Honestly, you could have the most perfect figure in the world but you'll be sitting and moving your barely covered arse hole all over the public chairs and sun loungers! 🤮

Not sure how your teenage son will feel, but I would've given my mum a very wide berth if she'd worn one.

Well, I think thong bikinis look largely ridiculous, uncomfortable and a recipe for raging thrush on the early 20s bums of Love Island, so it'd be a hard no from 40 year old me, with or without the teen.

I think the trend for thong bikinis is awful, whatever your figure and whether you have teenage kids to embarrass or not. They just look horrendous. Not classy.
