Farage was the main mover behind Brexit which weakened the UK and EU which led to Putin thinking he could stroll into Ukraine and pose his own will. Farage had a programme on the Russian TV channel RT so we know he was happy to take russian money.

Brexit also undermined the post WWII spirit in Europe so to hear farage lecturing rishi sunak on dday was particularly ironic.

I think we (the West) are in danger of losing the “inoculation” effect of the first and second world wars.

People seem less able to recognise how the Nationalist tendencies shown by the likes of Farage, combined with their absolute love of the “strong man” dictatorial behaviours epitomised by the likes of Putin, lead down dangerous roads.

We should be able to see right through him and his rhetoric, and it is dispiriting that there are people out there who apparently don’t.

There are lots of reasons to dislike Farage, but I personally don't think this is a real one.
