Filthy food habit… and what’s yours?

Not talking Biscoff straight from the jar here… its so low-level I’m compelled to post (with NC) so to expose the guilt/be shamed out of it.

Maggi noodles eaten dry, from the packet, with the seasoning sprinkled into them. Preferably chow mein flavour. But eaten in bed. Last night the flavouring went on my sheets which may or may not have been a turning point.

What’s your secret filthy food habit?

Sausage bap with baked beans in the bap lush

Wotsits... biting the ends off of of them, then licking the ends and sticking them together to make a Mega Wotsit.

😅

This is why I love MN...
No really my filthy habit anymore.... but I used to dissolve smarties without breaking the shells... and then stack these up to eat...It was more boredom of being a teenager than actually taste!

After seeing it on dragons den I munched chocolate and crisps together. It was wonderful.

I’ve not done it again as I”m concerned about my weight as it is without munching two of my favourite things together.

I thought that was pretty way out but some of these are 🤮. I can’t even begin to understand how anyone can drink vinegar 🤮🤮🤮

But a glug of vinegar will cure hiccups ASAP so some pros.

SpindarellaRockafella · 21/06/2024 23:06

Linguine, ridiculous amount of butter, blob of marmite, cheese.

nigella managed to make it a “recipe”/blog so it must have some credentials.

i just love it for its carby/umami goodness.

Scraping all the brown roast chicken goo from the roasting tin and eating it off the spoon 😋

My brother saves the fat in his air fryer.... chicken, pork, fish, whatever....
Uses it for the best roasties.

Sardinesguilt · 21/06/2024 23:04

Tin of sardines or salmon with all the crunchy little bones or skin in. Then mop up the juice or oil with crusty bread.

But but but... What about the gravy? It needs the bits and the goo!

Not current but when I was little (and not veggie) my nanny used to carve up ham with jelly on and throw it across the table for me to eat like a dog... Happy memories 😄

ImALittlePea · 21/06/2024 23:03

Waffle sandwich anyone? Potato waffle done in the toaster on with ketchup 🤤 depending on the mood I sometimes add plastic cheese or bacon, sometimes both, and sometimes I'll chuck the whole damn thing in the toastie press with extra butter on the outside for some extra burn 🤤

Heatherson · 21/06/2024 23:02

I’ve never admitted this to anyone… But when I was in my teens and twenties, I liked to get a big bag of Hula Hoops crisps.

I’d take two in my mouth and chew them until they were a mush. Then I’d take the mush out of my mouth and fill a third one with it (this is beyond disgusting, I know). I’d then put the mush-filled Hula Hoop on a plate to let it cool down (cos my saliva and the mush being in my mouth had made it warm) all the while repeating it with the others in the packet. Then when I’d done them all and let them cool, I’d gobble them up.

I have no place on this earth, I know. But honestly I’d do it again. Ha!

This will sound quite sane compared to some, but I like a digestive biscuit spread with cream cheese then jam. Its like an instant mini cheesecake.

I also love frazzles dipped in ice cold milk. And chocolate with garlic salt sprinkled on it.

I'm so trying the mini cheesecake idea...

GailTheSnail · 21/06/2024 23:00

Anchovies (deli style not tinned) atop a pile of ready salted crisps.

potplantsinparadise · 21/06/2024 23:00

Tinned ravioli or macaroni cheese, straight from the can.

Tuna sweetcorn mayo mix, straight up (ie. not on a jacket potato).

A warm croissant spread with honey and strawb jam and Marmite.

Absolute filth. Honestly.

You win this competition 👏

I rarely win anything, so I’ll take that! 😂

Glacé cherries sandwiched between two thin slices of marzipan

That sounds amazing!

Toast topped with a slice of pineapple and then a slice of dairylea, grilled and eaten when cheese all gooey

That sounds delicious!

Wotsits dipped in yogurt sound delicious and I agree, stale wotsits are so much better!

BreadInCaptivity · 21/06/2024 22:53

Not mine but my DH's. Pasta mixed with butter, mushed up cooked fish fingers and tomato purée.

Indigobird111 · 21/06/2024 22:51

Tinned macaroni cheese in a toasted sandwich, with extra grated cheese added. Must be one of those breville toasties with the sealed crunchy edges. Eat dipping in tom ketchup, but beware it can be volcanically hot.

justneedtogetstarted · 21/06/2024 22:51

Thank you and apologies to your waistline! (Basically it is a cornflake cake warm, for one)

Raw bacon 🥓

Spoon of butter, tablespoon of golden syrup, piece of dark choc. Melt in the microwave for 1min. Add cereal-cornflakes or Rice Krispies ideally, but special k will do. Mix together and eat warm. Yum. I will never tell anyone that I have done this!

This sounds genius! Salivating just reading about it!
