To think friend should have reminded me?

Friend paid for hers and my ticket to see a recent gig, cost £200 each. These were bought months ago and I forgot about it, we also have barely spoken since purchase.

I never paid her back and now the gig has been and gone and she’s ignored my texts and calls.

No, and she knew I wouldn’t be able to and she was ok with it.

I had to wait for pay day and then I completely forgot.

Get her bank details and apologise then transfer the money and apologise again .

I'm not surprised she's ignoring you. She shelled out for tickets, you didn't make reimbursing her a priority, you forgot the gig and now you're blaming her.

If you want to salvage the friendship you owe her an apology for being so unreliable.

Erm ... that's really weird. Did she go without you? Re sell your ticket? Or do you not know? Either way, it sounds like you've been ghosted.

She's not your mother and I'd be pretty pissed off with you. £200 is a lot. You should just transfer the money and apologise, profusely
