I don't want to make this too specific because then it would be a TAAT, but to give a general example: OP starts a thread that says something like 'I went to an expensive seafood restaurant and I was served stale bread, warm wine and I think that one of the oysters was past its best. The staff were unhelpful and I think I should message their head office. How should I go about it'.
INVARIABLY, someone will come along and say 'I hate seafood. YABU to go to a seafood restaurant.' Then someone else will come along and say 'YABU to eat somewhere expensive in a COL crisis. And what about the situation in Gaza/Sudan/Ukraine/Wherever'.
It is so so annoying and people do it all the bloody time on here. AIBU to find this so annoying?

OP posts:
Willmafrockfit · 03/05/2024 07:22

yes, no, i wonder if i should go full time?

Woohow · 03/05/2024 07:08

I hate it when people say, 'If that's all you have to worry about you are very lucky' or similar, as if people can only have one problem in their life at a time! Or more likely, they cannot imagine people having more than one thought a day.

Tombero · 03/05/2024 07:04

OP, it won’t hurt to log it with 101, then at least they have a record.

bloodyplumbing · 03/05/2024 07:03

@allgroyellow I don't think the problem is OP, now whom could it be 🤔

It’s all very well you trying to police people’s postings and opinions, but I’m surprised you have the headspace to do this given the coral reef bleaching crisis. Time to get your priorities straight.

Brilliant 👏

YANBU OP

Why would ANYONE lose their shit? That's just careless. I keep a cork in my arse, I'm no mug.

DagnabbitDeputyDawg · 03/05/2024 06:48

I can't bare them OP. My advise is to take a deep breathe so you don't loose your shit. But you should of brought some imiodum if you was going to eat oysters.

Consider yourself lucky to have oranges. We have to get by on painted balls of clay (water colour, of course. Have you seen the price of oil paint?)

Paint? Clay? BATHS?!

You don't know you're born. We wash outside, with cold water. Preferably the overspray from when next door washes the car, but a puddle is perfectly serviceable.

Never did me any harm. People are too soft nowadays.

I feed DC rocks. The fibre is good for them.

Winnading · 03/05/2024 06:44

Not sure I'm seeing it right, need a diagram. You know its MN law now to do diagrams.

Neveralonewithaclone · 03/05/2024 06:36

You sound very old OP.

Neveralonewithaclone · 03/05/2024 06:34

I'm going to get my dicks in a row.

Neveralonewithaclone · 03/05/2024 06:33

Well, whatever. I think outdoor rugs are stupid. And I've spent A LOT OF TIME thinking about wallpaper. Look, even if it is Zoffany I definitely will take an axe to it after a few months.

I know myself and I must stick to neutral walls. Not literally. Obviously.

CulturalNomad · 03/05/2024 06:28

If you're still annoyed then up your dose of estrogen to 7 pumps + 4 patches. Ignore the GP; everyone know they don't know anything. You want to get your medical information from a reliable source (like an internet forum).

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 03/05/2024 06:25

Sorry OP I don’t get what you mean. Can’t you add a map?

Projectme · 03/05/2024 06:13

Spa day is your answer. Then eat a massive salad.

PhuckyNell · 03/05/2024 06:09

ask stupid questions get stupid answers 😂

Easy peelers? Easy PEELERS? Some of us can only dream of easy peelers, we have to sit in the bath (cold water only, of course, can't afford to heat it) and goudge strips off ordinary oranges!

Consider yourself lucky to have oranges. We have to get by on painted balls of clay (water colour, of course. Have you seen the price of oil paint?)

I've never had a dog. I've had cats. And a goldfish, once.

SnowyPetals · 03/05/2024 05:19

My dog once had an irrelevant opinion. He decided he preferred his red food bowl to his blue one.

Highlighta · 03/05/2024 05:12

Have you considered that you may have early onset dementia OP.

Vistada · 03/05/2024 05:10

A&E NOW.

After getting your ducks in a row ofc - could be dementia.

WoollyRosebud · 03/05/2024 05:06

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 02/05/2024 23:33

The colour teal is far superior and has a far wider range of uses than mustard. That's my opinion, don't even try to change my mind.

I think you will find Eau de nil is much more soothing than teal. There again teal does hid the skid marks if you are a bed shitter.

MinervaMcGonagallsCat · 03/05/2024 05:06

Have you consulted a GP about your issues?

drusth · 03/05/2024 04:58

allgroyellow · 02/05/2024 23:16

well, if that is your response, i would suggest the problem is with you, rather than with anyone else

No, I agree with OP, your post was goady and stupid.
