Embarrassing typos / texts sent to wrong recipients

There's been threads like this in the past, and I've shared my previous faux pas, but I'm just cringing at a message I've sent to my 79 year old Mum.

She's been sleeping badly and waking up at 4 / 5am. I've just sent a text saying "Night night, hope you sleep well and don't wank too early"

I'm usually pretty good at checking my texts before I send them.

I text DH while out shopping to let him know I had bought wine except my text actually said "I have wind" a reply came back "thanks for the over share did you get the wine?"

I’ve sent my proper high up boss a text meant for my DH saying “thank god it’s Friday” - he took it fairly well 😣

This one makes me massively cringe.
I was writing about a boss I had on another forum. Complaining about him massively, you know how it goes.
For some reason as I was composing a text to said boss a few days on, I must have clicked on something to bring up the link of the thread and website so that was also included in the text. He of course then read it and was predictably livid. Still makes me die thinking about it now.

I had posted a photo on FB of my new rescue dog along with our other dog. My slightly drunk and incapable of checking her spelling had meant to put "aw you do love your animals". Instead it said 'aw you do love your anal'

A friend of mine accidently changed "kind regards" to "kind retards" in their email signature. When I pointed it out to her we both found it pretty funny but she then changed it to just "Retards". Now that she has realised I don't think this is funny or appropriate

I emailed someone quite high up at my work called Rhiannon. Autocorrect changed it to dear Rhinoceros.

I was sent a condolence message from a friend after my brother died of a brain tumour. She was trying to say she had been thinking so much about dear William, but it corrected to " I have been thinking so much about dead William"
It actually made me laugh out loud but then I really really hoped she would never see what she had written as would probably feel awful.

(I'm very sorry about your brother)

That's priceless though. Imagine her realising what she'd sent ...

2 of my best friends are a married couple. He sent me a text meant for his wife saying 'I'm in getting in the shower, wish you were in there' he realised just after I read it and deleted it. He was absolutely mortified whereas I couldn't stop bloody laughing....he's like my brother

I have on more than one occasion texted someone inviting them round for a meal and then realised it had auto corrected to' neck'

After texting a client I clean for, I thought I was messaging my friend “uh the creepy twat is going to be in again, cba. Deffo replacing after Xmas.” Guess who got the text ….

@HagBitch honestly I am still absolutely mortified and it was a couple of years ago now. We just all ignore it ever happened.

Both of my worst ones have involved children.
At work one day one of the chickens in our petting area had died. Colleague texted another colleague to ask her to come and deal with the body of the children who'd died! We works in a nursery so she was understandably very worried!

And another was autocorrect again. I was writing a comforting message to a worried parent about her child's height/ weight ratio. My phone changed percentile to centipede every time. ' (Childs name) is on the 75th centipede!
