To be offended by these stickers on the back of a van?

So I was on a day trip with a friend yesterday and this van was up ahead of us in the traffic.
I’m no prude, but I think these are really offensive (you may need to zoom in)
Is it even legal to drive around like this?

What choice have we when they pull out in front of us at a junction with a 7 year old and 9 year old in the car who have good eyesight and reading ability?

Er, pull in and stop? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've no idea why you were offended. The nob head has outed himself as one. Feel sorry for his friends and maybe wide, but don't bother yourself with it.

You have to choose to be offended. You can also choose not to be offended and move on. Being offended is a personal thing that you really shouldn't waste time on.

The Fake Taxi thing - that’s a rape fantasy? Really disgusting.

The driver may already be known to the police. He might have form for sexual offences.

Fake Taxi is a porn company.

LauderSyme · 24/03/2024 14:00

Ugh, that is so gross.

I guess the owner is strongly signalling his identity and his membership of his 'tribe' with this public display of oafish misogyny. I expect he enjoys upsetting women with it and wears their contempt for him as a badge of honour. Horrid.

So those of you on this thread that think I’m BU to be offended, you’d be ok if I was driving about with ‘FUCK OFF CUNT’ in massive letters on my rear window, yes?

Yes, absolutely.

PeggyPoggleshaw · 24/03/2024 13:57

Must admit I find it quite amusing.

JMSA · 24/03/2024 13:48

He might as well have 'daft prick' tattooed on his forehead.

JanglingJack · 24/03/2024 13:46

I should have added that his stickers are just embarrassing - for him.

Nobody is going to get in that van for sexual pleasure.

Allfur · 24/03/2024 12:38

What sort of porn does fake taxi have on its site? Rapey stuff? It's a vile name

It might shock you to know that many couples enjoy engaging in the 'fake taxi' genre. It's certainly not rape.

Mummame2222 · 24/03/2024 13:43

‘Fake Taxi’ is just shameful.

I don’t think any of it offensive, just in poor taste and embarrassing for them. I couldn’t be offended by an idiot.

JanglingJack · 24/03/2024 13:39

I wouldn't be offended by it because it's not a personal remark to me. The stickers on that van make me think the driver is seeking attention in a very immature way, like the graffiti that you see by teenagers.

Exactly this @2dogsandabudgie

I've seen lots of stickers like this on vehicles, I just roll my eyes and move on! Yes the driver is an absolute dick, but I can't see any use in getting het up when you can't do anything about it, except have a moan on MN?

ganglion · 24/03/2024 13:32

YANBU. I would assume that the owner is making up for something he is lacking in some other department.

Malarandras · 24/03/2024 13:21

I agree it’s extremely distasteful and I’d give that person/ vehicle a wide bearth. I highly doubt it is illegal though.

It’s nice when you get a clear warning that you’re dealing with a dickhead.

100%

YABVU. When thinking of my DD, I think a van having these things is absolutely brilliant. Will be an enormous red flag for her to avoid the driver/inhabitants of said van.

At least he's giving you the heads up, avoid at all costs. Maybe he finds people give him a wider berth, any surprise, whilst he's on the road. He's also probably the last person you would want to see nude, l can imagine a toothless, grubby, over weight and under educated idiot driving this vehicle.

Are you saying this is intended to have the same effect as a Baby On Board sticker?😀

Namechange666 · 24/03/2024 13:08

It's in poor taste but fgs, just ignore it, if you don't like it.

mrsdineen2 · 24/03/2024 13:07

Also, forgive me as I'm no solicitor, but I'd have thought there'd be some sort od indecency related offence relating to the imagery at least? If driving around during day time or anywhere close to a school?

SallyWD · 24/03/2024 13:06

They're very offensive but sadly the world is full of idiots like this.
