Feeling poorly and haven't travelled for ages. Single mum with not a lot of money at the moment. I want to look wistfully and vicariously at beautiful parts of the country to inspire me back into full health and energy so I can maybe one day venture out again. Words about your life there welcome also.

Not where I live but where I visited last week was impressed with the arty photo ( it’s Sunderland beach) and where I live when not in flood which is normally the case in winter (york)

South Stack on the Isle of Anglesey. We visit family there often and hope to move there permanently one day.

Just 3 miles from the centre of Cardiff, my regular dog walk. I want my ashes scattered in this field.

I love this thread and think that UK and Ireland have some of the most beautiful places in the world. Yes, we suffer a little with the weather but on a fine day where could be better !!

Taken from at my local spring the other day when I was filling my bottles for the week. I live on Achill Island - off the west coast of Ireland

I walk down to the beach from the levels (where this photo was taken) nearly every day with the dogs. It's completely peaceful and utterly beautiful
