Mine is Glen Tilbrook (Squeeze), Robert Johnson (blues musician) and Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby. Not his normal voice.

Alan Rickman, Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins, Jeremy Irons, Richard E Grant, Diana Rigg, Judi Dench and Joanna Lumley.
Christopher Lee.
Perfect diction and wonderful tones.
As expected, really.

I love Mackenzie Crook's soft gentle voice.
Morgan Freeman and Walter Borden (from Lexx), both of which have a rich transatlantic warmth and rounded quality.

Sean Dooley
Anthony Hopkins
Carol Kirkwood - not an obvious choice, but she has wonderful clarity and a lovely cheerful tone.

David Draiman. Disturbed.
Him singing sound of silence makes me go weak at the knees 😀

Yes, the range in his voice is fantastic. Gives me goosebumps.

I really like Daisy Haggard's voice when she's the mum in Hilda

That was 30 years ago!! We’ve heard his voice loads since then.

Gerry Adams ? The IRA bloke ? Seriously?

I think it's a joke based on the fact that, for many years, we never heard his voice on TV because it was replaced by that of an actor. When he was speaking on the news, it always told you on screen it was an actor's voice.

Martin Sheen when he does audio books.

Ooh thanks - I will check this out. I was going to say young Martin Sheen in movies/TV has an extremely sexy voice (and is also an absolute beauty, which you wouldn’t necessarily guess from The West Wing).

Oh and Richard Burton - I'll sometimes watch old videos of him on chat shows just to hear him!

There's a wonderful recording of him reading "Under Milk Wood". I fell in love with it as soon as he got to "limping invisible down to the sloeblack, slow, black, crowblack, fishing boat-bobbing sea".

It was over 50 years ago that I first heard it, and it's still there, in whatever the aural equivalent of the mind's eye is. When I read it, it's his voice I hear.
